Chapter 3

A man was sitting in his cabin and working on a laptop. He was doing his work with full concentration that he couldn't hear his phone ringing continuously.

Suddenly a man entered his cabin without knocking and he instantly knew who he was. He was his cousin and best friend Shahzain. They both are basically birthday twins as they both were born on the same day.

When he saw shahzain was staring at him and asked.

"What happened. Why did you suddenly come. Is everything alright"?

"Yes everything is alright. I came to inform you that we're going home early today because I just got a call from Afiyah and she was asking us to come home early today because she wanted to say something important". He replied while sitting on a chair in front of him.

"What is the important thing she wants to tell us. Is everything okay at home. And why she didn't call me". He frowned and asked.

"I don't know what is the important thing she wants to tell us. And when you do your work, you become so busy that I stop telling you anything. Check your phone, you got missed calls from Ammi and Afiyah". He said narrowing his eyes.

"And yes everything is okay at home. And why didn't she call you in the first place is because I am her favorite brother so of course she will call me". He replied with a proud face.

He chuckled at his reply he always says that he is her favorite brother and even fights with him for that.

"Stop gigging. Finish your work quickly, I will wait for you". He said with an irritated face.

"Yes my work is almost done just give me 10 minutes, I just have to add some points after that we can go home".

"Ok then i will wait for you in the parking lot so come early and don't take more than 10 minutes". Shahzain said while leaving the cabin.

"Okay". Shahzad said while nodding his head

Shahzad finished his work quickly and called his assistant and told him that he is going home early today, so if any urgent work comes up then call him or Shahzain.

He went to the parking lot where Shahzain was waiting for him in the car after informing his assistant.

"Finally you are free from your girlfriend". Shahzain exclaimed.

"Girlfriend?". Shahzad asked while raising his eyebrows.

"Yes your work is your girlfriend. I feel pity for your would-be wife who has to deal with you." Shahzain said

"Why". Shahzad narrowwd his eyes and asked.

"Why are you always so busy in your work that sometimes I doubt whether you will be at work even on your wedding day".

"Well, leave all this and tell me what are your plans for marriage. When are you planning to get married?". Shahzain again asked him.

"There are no plans as of now and you can get married first too"

"In our family, the eldest son gets married first and unfortunately you are 2 minutes older than me so you will get married first"

Shahzad shook his head at his reply. He suddenly noticed that they were going in a different direction.He got confused and asked

"This is not the way to our house then which way are we going?"

"Yes, we are going to Phuphu's house because everyone is there today."

"But why has everybody gone there today?"

"Have you forgotten that today Phuphu has invited us all to her house for lunch?"
