Chapter 3

It's bing a few days in our new woodland cabin and besides space problems everything else is fine, as fine as we can get with this crew. I was sitting by the furnace trying to meditate, key word trying, I heard gun shots on one end and Jade Cutting one on the other, all the while the others went to do there own things in the forest, I sighed and I stood up and I said "I might as well get some exercise" I then walked out of the cabin. Once outside I see everyone busy, I looked to Jade cutting down a tree and moonstone processing the wood, given our lives on the run we learned a thing or two, I then saw one of Blake Peridot's orbs taking a pice of wood and brought it to Cinebarre and Royal, I decided to walk up to them and I asked "what are you guys up too?" Cinebarre said "we're building storage space" I then noticed the cleared land behind the cabin and I said "I tit some one is working and making room for the ship" Royal replied "yeah, Jade said we might as well do it too get it out of the way, and we have all this wood so we can attach it to the ship" I smiled and said "that sounds great, when will it be done?" Blake peridot emerged from the storage space and she said "exactly one hour, two and a hafe if we get delayed" .

I nodded and I said "good, then I might as well get the ship" Jade then walked up to us with more lumber and said "please take Solditie with you, she's starting to get on my nerves " I nodded and I shouted "Solditie!, come here!" The gun shots stopped and she jumped to the roof of the cabin and did a back flip off it and land right in front of me. She then asked "ya boss?" I replied" I'm going to get the ship, can you accompany me" She whistled and said "like you had a choice, I'm the best pilot out of all of us" I then said "that's debatable" we then did what we always do, eyed each other in silence until we reached the warp pad. Once we warped our way back to the beach house and I saw Nora playing with a big pink creature? She looked at us and said "oh hi (Y/N) and Sodalite, what brings you here?" I walked up to the pink creature with a big white mane and I can feel a bit of pinks energy, I petted it's main and Nora said "oh!, this is lion, he was my moms lion" I nodded and I scratched his chin and he purred and I gave him a small smile and I said "I can feel her energy in him" I then continued to pet him and Nora asked "so what's up?" Sodalite replied "we need to get our ship and bring it to the cabin for more space" she nodded and said "shure just let me get someone".

We waited with Lion as Nora entered the temple, then after a few minutes Nora came back with the amethyst, she then said in a bird tone "ok let's get this over with" I nodded and we all went to the worp pad once more, once there we headed to my ship, once there Amethyst asked "so how did you get this ship?" Me and Sodalite answered "we stole it" Amethyst gave us a smile and said "cool" I opened the door and it opened with a very loud creek and I said "let's hope it has miner damage " we entered and I'm glad the inside is clean but it's still dark, Nora then said "where's the light switch?" I then went up to the helm and nothing is responding. I sighed and said "looks like we need to fix the energy core" Sodalite then said "I'm on it" she then went downstairs while I opened a panel, I was fiddling with it and Amethyst asked "what are you doing?" I replied "I'm going to try and hardware it" she then said "here take this" she pulled out her whip and handed me the end of it, I smiled and I attached it to the panel and once I secured it I gave her a thumbs up and she released some electricity from the whip and after a few tries it glowed to life.

Once it glowed to life I tried to run a diagnostics but then it activated the lights and has sent them to max, we were all blinded and then a metallic lock echoed threw out the ship and she was alive once again, after I fixed the lights I asked "is everyone alright?" Nora replied "blurry but fine" amethyst replied "I'm ok too bro" Nora then said "please tell me this wasn't a death flag" I replied "I don't know that but we let's hope that didn't trigger the security system" amethyst then asked "why should we worrie about that?" I replied "oh because we could get disintegrated" both of there faces paled and I said "if it helps I doubt it will work now" amethyst then said "yeah, that's still putting us on edge" Sodalite then came back covered in ash and Nora asked "what happened?" She replied "well I got good news and bad news" I then said "good news" she replied "the core is stable and running" and Nora asked "and the bad news?" She replied "the bad news is that we are in lock down" I face palmed and Nora asked "what dose that mean?" I replied "we're going to be stuck here for a while" amethyst then said "just great!" Sodalite then said "it could be worse, we could of set off the bomb" amethyst and Nora then shouted "THE WHAT!?!" I then said "I thought I told you to get rid of it!" She replied "I was but we crashed and you know what happened after that" I then thought "ok, you'd bing threw this before what's the worst can happen " then we heard a soft snore that echoed and we all looked up to see a giant gem creature with no eyes, leathery wings and long pointed ears, asleep, upside down. We all looked at each other and I said "we're doomed" let's just hope it won't wake up.
