Five years later...

"Do you really need that?" Minji asked a now eighteen year old Hyein who was looking at the purse in her hands. "I'm a fashionista my dear mother, this is essential." Hyein joked and Minji could only laugh. "Yeah right, and I'm just your wallet?" Minji joked and Hyein let out a playful groan. "It's been eighteen years, mom. Of course you are!" Minji could only shake her head and look down at the pile of clothes over her arm.

Money was never a problem, which made it so much easier to keep an eighteen year old happy. And Minji never complain, why? Well, Hyein is in her rebellious years, but Hyein never does anything rebellious. If anything she's on Minji's back 24/7 because I'm her words, Minji is her best friend. Which was wholesome to Minji.

Knowing that kids Hyein's age completely forget about their parents by that age. But Hyein has always been different, in her own good way. Her friend call her weird for spending so much time with her mother but can you truly call those people friend's? And plus, Hyein never wants to leave Minji alone.

Also, she prefers Minji over any other human on this planet. Minji is just the best! Mother wise, and just as a human being who she could trust with anything. After all, she is her best friend.

"Come on, we have to wrap the shopping up, we still have to look for some furniture." And you guessed it right, they were now back in Korea. With the past still very much present in their minds but it'll be something they won't admit.

"We could just buy it online." Hyein said as she gave the purse one last approving look and hanged it on Minji's shoulder who let out a huff. "We could, but you're just too picky." Minji said which caused Hyein to let out a playful eye roll. "Am not! A queen just needs to find the perfect match." Hyein said and Minji let out a snort as she turned away to head to the counter ready to pay a whole closet of clothes for Hyein.

Hyein could only stare at her mother lovingly as she walked behind her. Despite everything that happened, Minji has always been there for her and swore to be by her side until Hyein no longer wanted. And that'll be never. Hyein is too attached to Minji. Which probably wasn't good but after everything with Hanni, things for Hyein have just been hard.

Trust issues could truly be out the roof at times.

After Minji payed, she had to be the one to carry everything around. "Oh my god, I need shoes!" Hyein suddenly remembered but before she could make the run to find a shoe store Minji grabbed hold of her with an arm filled with shopping bags.

"It's enough for today, we really need to get furniture and beds, or would you like to sleep on the floor?" Hyein let out a groan. Minji kissed the top of her head and Hyein let out a giggle. "I promise that we'll go out tomorrow to find you shoes, plus, I'm going to need my fashionista to suggest me some outfits." Minji said and Hyein let out happy sound.

Minji has always been a little outdated with her clothing, and she's never let Hyein try to fix her closet up, not until now and Hyein wasn't about to loose that opportunity. Maybe her mother will finally have women wooed.

And talking about women, Minji never even tried to move on. Her life only seemed to revolve around her work and Hyein, nothing and no one else. She never found herself capable of loving anyone, so she opted out on dating because she never wanted to hurt a good woman's heart.

Next thing Minji knew Hyein was dragging her out of the mall they had found themselves in. Minji only shook her head as she let Hyein drag her, some people laughed at the scene and others weren't bothered. Welcome to the world of being a mother!

Almost an hour later they found themselves at a furniture store, they took a little too long because Hyein decided to give the wrong directions which was only something funny to them. Hyein truly sucked at giving direction, and Minji knew that Hyein would never survive out in the wild. The girl's sense of direction was a little too low.
