Fluff Oneshot
Snypnosis - You're a second year at Jujutsu High with the infamous cursed speech user, Toge Inumaki. Frustrated with his inability to use normal language, you volunteer to help him talk, wondering if you'd ever get the opportunity to hear your name on his lips.
Reader is described to be short & chubby, as requested !

"Toge." You asserted. "I still don't get what you're trying to say sometimes, y'know."
He adverted his eyes towards the ground in disappointment.
Inumaki and I sat on the stairs leading down to the training grounds. He had just attempted to tell me a story in rice ball ingredients, but it was no use.
I had gotten decent at guessing what Inumaki was trying to imply with certain words over the last 2 years or so, but I was still nowhere near fluent in his made-up language.
"You know, Inumaki," I began again, this time reaching over to gently take his hands in mine. They were cool, slender, and slightly calloused from practice and combat. His fingers tensed for a moment as they felt the warmth of my palms. "You could try talking to me... normally. I promise I'll be okay. I won't get hurt."
Inumaki's eyes widened slightly and he shook his head with urgency. I gripped his hands tighter.
"Just... try to say, 'hello,' please?"
Inumaki sighed and pulled his hands back before standing up - his frame seemed to move so gracefully.
Inumaki's every gesture seemed to captivate my heart, honestly. Maybe I liked him a bit. Maybe I dreamed about the way my name would sound on his lips sometimes. But he would never like someone who resembled me. Nor am I even positive that I'll ever get to hear him say my name.
I stood up after Inumaki. He seemed to be lost in his own thoughts, staring at the grass field in front of the both of us.
"I'm sorry, Toge... I didn't mean to make you upset. I just really want to help." I shook my head, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over me.
"Salmon." Inumaki nodded, before walking away with his head down.
