A\N: This is a separate Willicia oneshot. I don't know what this one will be about or how long it'll be but I need to write something new that not a lot of people have done. I hope you enjoy, Angels.

Alicia stares at her shocked partner who's mouth hangs open. He shakes his head. "Y... you're what?!" He asks in shock, Alicia sighs.

"I'm going to New York." She repeats the sentence she said only moments ago, Cary blinks. "Why? Why now? When we're doing well?" He's shocked and a little bit angry. Alicia rolls her eyes as she sinks into her desk chair looking more tired than her partner had ever seen her. "I'm tired, Cary. I'm just so tired of everything. I'm tired of the fighting with Lockhart/Gardner. I lost my best friend the day he swiped everything off my desk and called me poison. The best friend I've known for 20 years just looked at me like I was a killer, a killer he wanted to see executed. I saw the hate his eyes held for me. He hates me, Cary! My best friend, the man I love more than my own husband, hates me! The war between me and him is draining, I'm sick of fighting with the man I love, I'm so tired. I want to stop fighting, but he likes it. He likes seeing me fumble, he likes the rush he gets watching me get thrown when he interrupts in court, he knows this because he knows me. We're using what we know about each other against each other! We've started using each other to get ahead! We're doing what we promised we'd never do in Georgetown. We both broke that promise and he doesn't care. He doesn't care about the promise.  I left with you guys because I love him and not being able to tell him was killing me but it wasn't killing me as fast as this war between us is!" She explodes as tears roll down her face. Cary sighs softly, before looking at her dead in the eye.

"God, Alicia. So tell him, tell him you want the fighting to stop. Tell him you love him. Don't run away, don't run, Alicia." Cary tells her, Alicia glares at her partner as she stands up, the tears stopping for the time being.

"I'm not running, Cary, I'm taking a break. For a few days, that's all I'm doing, it's not a crime. I'm just taking a break then I'll get back to kicking Will's ass because it's the only way he'll look at me. And just so you know, I'm sure as hell not running away from William Paul fucking Gardner." She snaps before gathering her things and leaving the office. Not noticing the phone in her partner's hand that's set to 'record'.

Cary Agos smiles to himself as he stops the recording. He knew his partner loved their old boss, everyone at Lockhart/Gardner knew that they loved each other. He feels a stab of guilt in his chest. He hates that the war between Alicia and Will is causing Alicia so much pain and heartache. He didn't mean to record what he did, it was just on and he decided to keep it on for evidence, because it's clear that Will Gardner doesn't care that this war is taking its toll on his once best friend.

He watches as his partner leaves her office and walks to the elevator. He leaves her office and walks into his own, sitting at his desk, the phone still in his hand.

He doesn't know what to do with the video: Alicia would kill him if she finds out, but he knows it's what Will needs to hear but he doesn't know if Will'll even hear it if he sends it, he may just delete the email when he sees the sender is Cary. Cary just groans, his mind made up, before pulling up his email app on his phone and attaching the video with only one line:

You need to listen to this. The war is slowly killing her.

The email goes away with a whoosh.

Cary smiles to himself once more as he puts his phone face down on his desk. Alicia will kill him if and when she finds out but it's worth it to see this war between her and Will end.

Alicia leaves Florrick/Agos and drives home, mentally making a list of what she'll need for New York when her conversation with Cary returns. She hadn't meant to explode on her partner who has now become one of her best friends, but he had and there was nothing she could do about it, she was sure that the entire firm heard her and that it would somehow get back to Will by the end of the day. Her employees just love meddling in her love life. She meant what she said to Cary: she had lost her best friend the day he swiped her things off her desk when he found out. He scared her when he looked at her with hate in his eyes, even though Will would never raise a hand to her.
