Someone wasn't happy at all.
It was finally the coronation of the young prince, everyone in their great province were dressed in their finest silks, adoring the shiniest gemstones they had. It had become a tradition for every citizen to look their best, whenever a new ruler was about to be enthroned.
The palace was almost full to the brim, with people of all class, neighbouring province and well-wishers.
The entire place glistened, sounds of laughter and jollications filled the air. It was a day of merrymaking and every word that rolled off tongues was good.
All except one.
“I think he's too young!” The late king's brother was hellbent the position be bestowed upon him and not an inexperienced person of life as he calls his nephew.
“He is well capable of ruling, and had displayed every attribute a wise king would,” the oldest sighed. “With the help of every kingsman he will thrive, until he's experienced enough to.”
The hatred and anger boiled, pumping through his vein, bad blood circulating to his heart. He is too young- was his only excuse, the black haired had mastered every law, every partnership deal and how to close them, every economic impact, growth and how to handle them. He was kind and endearing to every citizen, respectful, yet strident enough to gain the proper amount of fret and love.
It was obvious he was meant to rule.
“Please, do not bring up this topic again.”
The king's brother seethed silently.
But he had hope, the prince was the only child, if his demise happened so suddenly, they wouldn't have a choice but to hand rulership over to him.
It would be a shame if Minho were to die early, wouldn't it?
