Freya's pov:

The following day i sat in class, my head buried into another novel. The familiar feeling of book pages against mariners comforted me. Building a safety net from the chaos and drama of the social world. At least until i felt a tap on my shoulder. I was startled to find out that it was Tara tapping my shoulder, sitting next to me with a mischievous smile on her face.
"Hey." she whispered, still looking at me with her smile. „I need your help with something." I closed my book, eyeing her with a mixture of curiosity and distrust. „And with what exactly?" i asked, wondering if it was some part of trick or prank. „See that boy over there?" Tara pointed discreetly to a boy a few rows ahead, his head buried in his phone. „Yeah..." i replied, not sure of what comes next. „I need you to distract him for me." she said in a hushed tone, leaning closer. „Just for a few minutes. Can you do that for me?" i raised an eyebrow at her request, not sure if i wanted to be a part of whatever she was planning. „Why do you need me to do that?" Tara just smiled, enjoying the game she was playing. „Just trust me," she pleaded, her eyes sparkling with mischief. „Please?" i sighed, feeling a reluctant agreement building up in my mind. „Fine." i muttered, putting my book into my bag. „So i just have to talk to him?" she nods as her grin widened at my agreement. „Yes, I'll handle the rest." I looked over at the boy, who was blissfully unaware of our scheme. I took a deep breath and stood up from my seat."okay," i said, glancing at Tara. „I'll do it."
