"Ken, punta ka ba?" Justin asked him. It was Mark's birthday, and he would celebrate it in a rented resort. Of course, all of the team were invited together with Mark's family and friends.

"Ikaw, punta ka ba?" he asked him back.

Justin frowned and said, "Ikaw nga tinatanong ko eh.".

Natawa naman si Ken, "Kung anong sagot mo, dun ako. Sabay tayo uuwi diba? Or may sasabayan kang iba mamaya?"

"Wala baliw. Tayo ang sabay," Justin said.

"Okay," Ken simply answered and went back to scrolling through his phone.

Tapos na sila mag rehearsals, and all of them were preparing to leave.

"Oy Ken, Jah, pumunta kayo ha. Kahit sumaglit lang kayo. Support sympre kay kuya Mark," Pablo reminded them.

Justin answered, "Oo naman, Pau. Sunod kami."

"Sabay ako kay Jah," Ken said too.

Pablo nodded and left with Stell and Josh.

Justin was the one driving to the resort.

"Magtatagal tayo dun?" Ken asked.

"Hindi naman, medyo makikipag bond lang ng konti tapos yun, uwi na din after," he answered.

Ken didn't say anything. Pareho sila ni Justin na hindi naman malakas uminom ng alak, hindi din siya mahilig sa mga party and to mingle with the crowd. Aside from wanting to be there for Mark, gusto niya lang din samahan si Justin.

They used to go home together. And as they got closer, they realized that they may have a different personality and fashion style, pero mas maraming bagay parin ang pinagkakasunduan nila. And their opposite personalities even made them closer.

"Baka bigla mo nalang ako iwan ulit ha," Justin teased him.

Ken chuckled, "Baliw, isang beses lang kita iniwan sa gathering, kasi diba sabi ko naman sayo nahilo ako nun, na highblood ata ako sa kinain kong crispy pata nun eh. Saka nag text agad ako sayo nun diba. Grabe kaya guilt ko nun na umalis ako bigla, kaya nga tinawagan kita agad eh," he remembered.

They both laughed, remembering what happened that day.

Justin would always secretly feel flattered whenever someone told him na tahimik si Ken and would not say much, kasi sa kanya naman madaldal si Ken. That's how comfortable they are with each other, and he kind of liked it na sa kanya lang ganun si Ken, na siya lang ang nakakapag palabas ng makulit na side nito.

Ken can be intimidating most of the time because of this swag persona, and it's only Justin who is brave enough to make fun of him. Si Justin lang ang kayang mangulit sa kanya kahit seryoso siya. si Justin lang ang pwede.

"Hindi kita iiwan, don't worry Jah." Ken gave him assurance.

Pasimpleng tiningnan ni Justin si Ken, his last words sounded different. Differently good. His ears and his heart liked it.

Justin is not sure if both of them feel the same way, pero siya, sigurado siya. He likes Ken. More than just being a friend. Hindi niya alam kung tama yung nararamdaman niya, but he realized that after all those years, they've been quietly giving each other hints about what they truly feel.
