"Welcome to Jujutsu Tech, Y/N Y/L/N."
Mister Yaga is a kind person. He gave me this job after I moved here, so I politely thanked Mister Yaga for his kindness and left his... study? Would you call it a study, Mhmm? Let's call it that for now.
The halls seem lifeless, empty, and sad. I would say my bright summer dress brings some color into these halls. Sorcerers are rare; not everybody is able to see curses. And I am one of those rare sorcerers. Quite low-ranked, I have to admit... But still, I have some powers. Specialist in healing, my title. Speaking of healing, Yaga suggested I help Miss Shoko, to support the poor woman. She must be so overworked. I feel so bad for her.
Why do I wear a summer dress? Quite a good question, indeed. My uniforms got lost during the transport, so Mister Yaga was kind enough to order me some new ones. However, they will not arrive for a few days. So the students and the other teachers here have to accept that I come to school in long dresses. Because the days are only going to get hotter. My hair is put up with a clip. Sorry, but I hate having it in my face all day. And especially today! I absolutely have to leave a good first impression!
Not only on the students but also on the other teachers. Definitely after taking over his second-year class to help him focus on his first-year students. I should ask him about the students! And get some teaching tips!
Even though I don't really know who the other teacher is. I'm not new to the sorcerer world, but still... I'm like a clueless potato. I don't keep track of who the special graders are. Especially me, who would never meet a special grader as a low-ranked healer. Why should I suddenly meet one? So I don't need to study who the strongest is or who the other special grade sorcerers are. To be honest, I don't really care about that. These last days were stressful—preparing lessons, trying to understand how they teach here. I mean, when you move as much as I do, how often do you think I have confused teaching methods? This is my 10th school in 2 years. After I started working as a substitute teacher—needed everywhere but not staying for long. Found better or just not wanting to let me ruin their reputation. Ruin? Because of my low rank. What would the clans think if a low-ranked teacher starts teaching at their kids' school? Pure shame. Their words, not mine.
I cry out after bumping into a hard... chest? Was I that deep in thought to not notice a man approaching? My gaze fixed on the muscular chest covered in the sorcerer uniform. Wait, who? My gaze lifts to catch—a blindfold? Eyebrows slightly raised, mostly out of surprise, as the man pushed me a few steps back by my shoulder. "Quite a bold move, lady," he said, a playful grin covering his lips.
"Oh my, sorry sir," I tried to compose myself again. Snap back into the present as I bow with my apology. "I didn't mean to be that rude and run into you. I wasn't really there... you know? Like spaced out?" I quickly add, raising my eyes to meet his blindfold again. Who wears a blindfold? He must have his reasons!
But he only tilted his head, arms crossed over his chest. An amused expression—gods, how can you describe that? His expression in his lips. And his nose, but what can that add to the expression? His lips are curved in an amused way! "Not really there, you say? Mhmm, said like that... no, I have never heard it put that way," a low and attractive chuckle left his lips. "And who are you, lady? As you know, I am THE Gojo Satoru."
"I apologize again, Sir Gojo. Ah—I'm Y/N Y/L/N... pleased to meet you!" I reach my hand out, offering him a handshake. A gentle smile plastered on my rosé lips. A bit hesitant but still quickly, he reaches out for mine too. Quite a strong grip! He slowly shook my hand, offering me a grin. "You really don't know me... or are you playing hard to get?" he asked, his hand still holding mine. I slightly tilt my head, analyzing his face to think of any point I could look at when I talk to him!
"Why should I play hard to get, sir? I'm sorry, but I really don't know you. I'm new at this school!" I say, an optimistic tone in my voice, still sorry for the fact that I don't know him. "I'm Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer alive, Miss Y/N," the end was clearly meant to tease. Absolutely.
