Gojo's grin widened as he observed my puzzled expression. We paused for a second, just standing in front of each other, lost in our own thoughts. My head was spinning with the new information. Who just bluntly exclaims they are the strongest...? I mean, I don't think people lie that randomly. Maybe they have an enormous ego, but who am I to judge a person I don't even know for five minutes? Suddenly, he spoke up: "So, you're the new teacher Yaga mentioned. Taking over my second-year students, huh? Good luck with that." He scared me! How can he just speak up like that? Not meant in a rude way—

"Thank you, sir," I replied, trying to hide my rising nervousness. I don't know where that came from, so I tried to hide it behind a sweet smile. "I've heard they're quite... spirited." After realizing what I said, my hand automatically shot up to shake in front of my chest. "Please don't misunderstand me! I don't have a problem with them behaving that way... people should be themselves! I just repeated Mister Yaga's words."

"Of course... a sweetheart like you couldn't say such possibly bad words, am I right?" he chuckled. "But don't worry, sweetheart. Worry doesn't suit your features. If you need any help, just let me know. Although, I'm sure you'll manage just fine."

"Thanks, I appreciate that," I said, feeling a bit more at ease. He's a very kind man. I think I would get along with him quite well! It's pretty nice of him to reassure me. "Do you have any advice for handling them...? It sounds so rude, please don't think I have bad intentions with that!" I said, whining a bit at the end. I always sound so rude in this conversation. That's not how I am!

Gojo tilted his head thoughtfully, thinking for quite a minute. I found it kinda funny. You could actually see when he was thinking. For that, I couldn't hold back a quiet chuckle. He only smirked at that before answering: "Just be yourself, Y/N. They'll respect you for it, I'm sure. And don't be afraid to show them that you're in charge. They need a firm hand sometimes, even though they hate it."

"I'll keep that in mind," I nodded, an unsure smile on my lips. Here I'm actually quite at a loss for words. "And thank you again, Gojo," I added, a bit more confident smile plastered on my features.

"Please, just call me Gojo," he said with a wink. "Sir makes me feel old." He whined jokingly at the end. I am kinda curious about what he hides behind this blindfold. Oh gods, is he blind? Please don't say he's blind. No, not anything against any blind person, but when I bumped into him... I think I could never sleep again! No, guilt would guilt trip me. Normally I always help those rare people. Sometimes I think being blind is more rare than being able to see curses. I don't wish anybody to be blind, don't misunderstand me.

I laughed softly. His jokes are kinda funny, just please... don't be blind. "Alright, Gojo. For you too—Y/N is enough! I'll see you around!" I turned away, taking a deep breath, and walked to the class I would be teaching for the next few months, at least I hope to. I thought about what exactly to say so I don't stutter or say anything stupid. I am afraid they won't like me, and I also wonder how they really are and if it's true what's being said about them. They are just kids, you should live your life. No teacher should hinder your fun. As I think that way, you can't teach much here rather than being open to questions. You normally go out for missions. But as a low rank... Yaga hasn't given me permission to go on solo missions with them because my students are ranked higher than I am. The only thing Yaga added is that I should be careful how I treat Panda. He held more of a monologue—I guessed his favorite would be Panda after that. Just thinking back on it brings a smile to my lips. Even though I always smile, I mean a real, honest smile. I didn't really notice that I am already standing in front of the classroom door.

Fine, now or never! I opened the light door to be greeted by exactly three students. Yaga informed me that Yuta is abroad. Our youngest special grade here. The third years are suspended for god knows how long... he didn't want to scare me away, I think. Very generous. I hope...

With quiet steps, I entered, holding my documents close to my chest. I stopped in front of my desk, placing my documents down before turning to my new students with a bright smile.

"Hello! I'm Y/N Y/L/N. I hope we work well together during the time I help out. Could you give a quick introduction of yourselves? I would like to get to know you all better!" My tone sounded gentle. The sweet teacher. That is the role I always get... therefore I'm also less respected.

I quickly found out that the boy, Inumaki, only speaks "tuna." A recipe of something I can't quite recall. But after analyzing his movements, I understood quickly what he meant! His words are his cursed technique... a rare specialty of the Inumaki clan. Or better said, for what it's known... the rest of it. Maki is more... I think I respect her more than she respects me. That's okay. I haven't earned their trust yet. Or better said, respect. I found it rather amusing to have a panda in front of me. Yaga, of course, stated the whole story to me so I would understand how proud he is of his biggest achievement. How he made Panda feel. How strong he is. Still, it's entertaining how blunt Panda is. He made me chuckle quite a lot this lesson.
