     "Holy shit."

I jumped, springing up from my position on the couch. "What? Whats wrong?"

Shinso got to his feet, not answering the question directly. "I have to go, I got called in through dispatch. I'll be back later."

I frowned, watching him start towards the door. It had been a little over a week since he had been staying with me and since we had shared that kiss. Things were slowly going back to the way they had been before, though we were officially dating yet.

"Hitoshi hold on- Can you at least explain? What's going on?"

"He's not even dead, Kaminari! You didn't kill him!" he snapped, a nervousness in his voice.

My eyes widened. I hesitated for a moment before getting up. "Let me come with you."

He shook his head. "No, there's another attack. You're not qualified. I need to head back home for my uniform anyways; I'm going to be late enough without waiting for you to get yourself together."

"Wait but-" He didn't let me finish. The door was shutting behind him.

I grumbled, grabbing my phone. It didn't take much searching to find that the attack was finally a target on the number one, Izuku Midoriya. If the top hero wasn't able to handle the situation on his own, then surely something was seriously wrong.

I headed to my bedroom and from within my closet, pulled out a dusty, beat up box of my old shit. There, right on top of the pile of high school memories, was the iconic jacket and glasses that symbolized Chargebolt. I hurriedly put the uniform on. It still fit perfectly.

As I headed out the door, I made a phone call. "You hear about the shit going down right now?" I asked, starting to run down the street.

I heard a ruckus on the other end. "Yea- Shit- It's bigger than the fight with Todoroki. That kid's gone rogue or something," Sero responded.

"I think we should help."

Sero was silent for a long while, at least a minute. "I'll pick you up." With that, he hung up.

Soon enough, the squealing of a van came rattling up behind me, slamming the brakes. I jumped in and he hit the gas.

We soon reached the location of the fight, rubble scattering the street. Muffled explosions rang through the windows, rattling the old glass. We exchanged a look, knowing immediately who else was here.

We left the van in the middle of the road, jumping out of the vehicle and sprinting towards the scene. We pushed through the crowds of people, getting to the front. The area had been blocked off, cops yelling at everybody to back up and leave. Sero grabbed my arm and started pulling to the side, across the front of the crowd. We reached the edge of the street and suddenly he wrapped his arm around me and we were flung up in the air.

We landed atop a building and he ran off, me trailing close behind. I followed him a few blocks down, jumping from building to building. As we got closer, the explosions grew louder and the ground shook harder. I lost my footing, toppling down the gap between two tall buildings. I let out a yell, hoping Sero had quick enough reaction time, feeling something wrap around my body. It yanked me inside of a building, sending me toppling over the ground into an office desk. I hit the metal desk with a thud and a groan.

"Didn't I tell you to stay put?" a voice snipped at me, lending out a hand.

I looked up to see Shinso. I quickly grabbed his hand with a stupid grin and he yanked me to my feet. "You remember who you're talking to?" I snickered as Sero swung in through the window as well.
