Chapter 52

Advitya was fully focused on his laptop and typing on the keyboard constantly. He didn't even raise his head when the door of the room opened. Aayti entered the room with Adhyant in her arms. She sighed seeing him on his laptop.

“Adi, enough now come and play with Adhyant. See he is calling you…” Aayti kept Adhyant on the bed where he was making noises while calling Advitya.He didn't look at them and replied in a hummed voice.

“Adi, please look after him. I am going to check on Dhani. She has not looked well since she came from the college.” She insisted and gave a toy to Adhyant who took it happily and started making noise from it.

“Yeah you just go, I am here and I will take care of him. It's just almost done you go….” While saying this he didn't even look at them.

“Okay, I am going but please take care of him,” She said and kissed Adhyant's forehead who smiled and moved his legs and hands in hurry.

“He is my son too and I know how to take care of him.” Advitya said irritatingly, she shook her head and left.

Advitya looked up once where he saw her leaving and then Adhyant who was playing with his toy. Then he again drowned himself in the work. Adhyant was playing while tumbling on the bed. Aayti has kept him in the middle of the bed. But moving here and there on the bed he has reached to the edge.

Advitya was still occupied in his work when he heard a loud noise. He looked up and his eyes widened. He hurriedly kept his laptop on the coffee table and rushed towards Adhyant who was swinging and trying to reach for his toy which had fallen from his hand to the floor.

Before Advitya could catch Adhyant who was ready to kiss the floor. He was catched by Aayti. With the sudden action he started crying.

“Naa naa my baby…mumma is here, don't cry now,” Aayti held him in her arms and hugged him tightly. Advitya sighed and tried to take Adhyant from Aayti's arms when she turned and went out of the room.

“Aayti…. Aayti please listen,” Advitya called her from behind but she didn't listen to him and went out. He ran his hand on his hair,he knew that he had made a huge mistake.

She went straight to the other room of their floor and before Advitya could enter the room she closed the door. She went quietly and sat on the bed. Then she looked at Adhyant who was still crying seeing his red face full of tears, her eyes also getting wet.

“Enough my baby…Stop crying my love…mumma sorry she scared you and left you with your careless father…” Lulling him she removed the pallu of her saree and removed the blouse. She started feeding him.

Finally, he is quiet but Aayti can still hear the loud noises of banging the door. She ignored it and focused on Adhyant. Soon the noises stopped.

“Siya I don't want it yar I am not pregnant….” Adrankash made faces and saw the glass of milk mixed with the pure desi ghee. Smelling it he made the faces of puking.

“Ansh, stop being dramatic, it's good for you. My mother used to give it to my father. This milk gives a lot of energy.” Saying this she corrected the bed sheet.

“Ohh so do you think that I don't have energy to make you tired just in an hour? Are you calling me weak wifey? Or do you have some other mood today?” He raised his eyebrows towards her. She threw a cushion on his face and glared at him.

“Shut up and finish this or else you will be sleeping on the couch today…” She warned her and he again made faces. Then picking the glass from the table he saw the milk from outside where he saw that the butter was swimming in the milk.
