This is information I deem important about the story for the story so that you, the reader, aren't too confused. (Yes, I absolutely looked up definitions on google😃)
Hybrids - hybrids are people that have animal features and instincts.
Heat - the time when the female is most fertile and ready to mate, or just hide away until the heat is over.
Rut - Rut is the overwhelming need to breed and mate for males.
Mating season - mating season is the seasonal period when an animal's cycle is active, signaling animals to mate.
Mating mark - the process of marking ones mate in the place between the shoulder and neck..
Scents - a trail indicated by the characteristic smell of an animal and perceptible to hounds or other animals.
Pheromones - Pheromones are chemical messengers produced and emitted by the body that contribute significantly to interpersonal attraction. The two types of pheromones include signal and primer, each playing a distinct role in human behavior.
