Y/N NUDGED THE GIRL beside her excitedly as she looked out the window, "Yeon-unnie! Get up, get up! The sunrise is so pretty and the birds are chirping and the clouds are pink! Yeon-unniee!"

Yooyeon groaned as the girl continued to shake her until she was no longer capable of resting. "You know what else is pretty?" She asked, "Sleep." She grabbed a pillow and shoved it towards Y/N, falling back into her own pillow.

Y/N pouted and stared at the older girl as she went back to sleep. "Yooyeon-unnie... You need to get up and watch the sunrise with me!"

Because Y/N didn't give up, she left Yooyeon no choice but to leave the comfort of her bedsheets and join her by the overly large window.

It wasn't summer. Infact, it was actually the opposite. It was a winter morning and the sun was out, blinding anyone who dared to stand before it.

"Are you happy now?" Yooyeon asked as she yawned and crossed her arms infront of her stomach, her legs crossed beneath her. The floor was freezing, but she bared the shiver that threatened to flow.

Y/N nodded her head with a smile, glancing at her best friend for a moment. When she shifted her attention back to the sunset, her smile faded slowly.

"It's raining." Yooyeon said, her messy black hair tickling her neck as she looked up. Y/N couldn't help but let out a frown. She sighed, watching the drops of water hit the concrete.

After a moment of silence, Y/N's head perked up as if she had just thought of the greatest idea ever. She stood up from the floor of her bedroom, "I just thought of the most amazing idea in the whole universe; Of every dimension."

Yooyeon looked up at her with an eyebrow raised, "Uh... You know your ideas are never very rational, right, Y/N?" She asked in a slightly teasing tone. "Hey- was that a pun, by the wa-"

"Dance in the rain with me?" Y/N asked, already pulling up Yooyeon from the floor. As she got to her feet, she stood and shook her head.

"Nope. Are you crazy, Y/N? You're definitely going to end up ill if you do that. That's a really stupid idea, Y/N. You know that." The girl said as she crossed her arms.

Y/N huffed and grabbed Yooyeon by the arms and tried to drag her out of the room, "C'mon, unnie..." Her attempts of getting her best friend to move from the room were hopeless.

Yooyeon stood there as she stared at the younger girl. Y/N jutted her lip and stared back. She held both of her hands in her own and swung them gently. Yooyeon's eyebrows furrowed, "But... Hyperthermia..."

Y/N rolled her eyes, "Who's catching hyperthermia if it's just ten minutes?"

Yooyeon pursed her lips and spaced out, "Well, technically hyperthermia can catch up to you in about five minutes if its cold enoug-"

"Okay! I get your point, unnie." Y/N interupted, placing her hands on Yooyeon's shoulders and looking into her eyes, "...Please? I want you to dance with me, Yeon-unnie."

Yooyeon stared at Y/N's pleading eyes and cursed herself for ever developing a crush on this girl. She sighed and hung her head, "Wear a jacket."

Y/N's eyes lit up and she hurried away to put on a jacket. When Yooyeon finally caught up to her, she was already wrapped up. She brought an extra scarf and wrapped it around the younger girl.

"Come on, grumpy face, it's gonna be fun." Y/N smiled as she fixed Yooyeon's scarf for her.

The older girl's eyes narrowed and she pursed her lips, "I'm not grumpy. Not everyone can smile all the time, you know." She paused and tilted her head a tiny bit, "Well... Except for you."

Y/N blushed and burried her face a little deeper into the scarf that covered her chin. "Sure..." She took Yooyeon's hand and led her out the door.

The pair squealed as the rain poured down on them, running towards the streets. Chasing after one another as their laughter could barely be heard through the heavy downpour.

Y/N's wish, dancing in the rain with the girl she fell for, came true, eventually. The two girls danced. It started off in silly banter, twerking and what not, and ended in a still embrace.

They stood in the rain, slightly out of breath, holding eachother closely and so tightly as if they might melt away with the rain, slipping away from their own arms.

Yooyeon stared at Y/N with her signature expressionless face. Except, there was a hint of something else behind those dark eyes. "You're definitely the only person i would do this for."

They stared at eachother in silence. The only sounds that filled their muffled ears was the drops of rain that fell on the the street and the now soaked clothes they wore.

Yooyeon sighed as she tightened her grip around the younger girl, "You're cute."

Y/N searched her face, a sense of hope behind her eyes. "It sounds like you're flirting with me, unnie." She joked, her lips curling into a smile.

The older girl couldn't help but roll her eyes, "I've been trying to do that for two years now, Y/N."

At this point, Yooyeon had gradually inched her face closer. Y/N stared at her, bewildered. Her face was red from the insane amount of blood that rushed to her cheeks. "...What?"

Yooyeon smiled at her and Y/N's heart fluttered. It was a rare sight and she, oh, so desperately wanted to see it again. She blinked, "Are you being serious? Tell me you're not joking, unnie, because i will kiss you for real."

The girl's smile softened and she placed a hand on Y/N's cheek. "Stop wasting more time and just kiss me."
