At the start of the year when flyers were out, I had joined the baking class.
Mei-Chan, had joined as well.
I'd ignored her for a while but now, I can't ignore her anymore.

After today's baking class, we were the last ones in there.
No teachers.
Just us.
Me, and, Mei.

She was distracted by her phone..
Without thinking I picked up one of the bread knives and stuck it straight through her back hearing her pained gasp as she felt the sharp pain and saw the blade poking through her chest.
When I pulled the knife out, blood was spewing, spilling even.
Her body, it collapsed to the ground.

What have I..
Why did...
I..

I grab various paper towels in a hurry and clean up all the blood, wrapping up the bleeding chest with spare dish towels.

...

The adrenaline rush inside me is taking over with anger and jealousy.
I, I grab the already blood covered knife and...proceed to chop up her limbs and her body and..
Throw it in the oven, setting it as high as possible to destroy any evidence of what is left of the girl that she's human.

...

Once the oven has beeped, saying it's done, I take out her burnt to a crisp body and stuff it into a garbage bag.
I clean up any evidence or dna of the girl that might've remained in the area.

I can't bring myself to say her name anymore..

I find myself being the last person in the school for the day, so I drag the trash bag out to the dumpster.

I hope you understand my deep love for you, Haruki Sato.
