Rikto became the new king of "Navaratna" a few days ago. At first, Rikto declined, but his father insisted. He said, "I am old and not qualified to be a king anymore."

Actually, it’s not that Raj is unsuitable; he just wants to be lazy. He is a very carefree person. He likes to fish, spend time with his wife, and practice fighting skills, and he particularly hates official work.

After Rikto became the king, he decided to elevate his country’s economy. The economy is very important for a country’s growth. A thriving economy can create more jobs, reduce unemployment, and generate more tax revenue.

He first decided to implement policies regarding forest and agricultural management. He taught the farmers advanced agricultural techniques to maximize yields and preserve soil fertility.

Then he modernized and expanded the port city of Rio to handle increased trade. He also built marketplaces, warehouses, and docks to facilitate the storage and transfer of goods.

He formed trade alliances with neighboring kingdoms and distant lands to secure a steady flow of goods and resources. He also developed a merchant fleet to transport goods efficiently.

Rikto also focused on infrastructure development. He constructed roads and bridges to connect the forests, agricultural regions, and mining areas with the port and the cities. He also developed a network of rivers and canals to facilitate the transportation of goods.

He implemented fair trade laws to protect merchants, artisans, and consumers.

Rikto built well-planned cities with marketplaces, artisan quarters, and residential areas. He also invested in public amenities like water supply, sanitation, and waste management to improve living conditions.

He established schools and academies to promote literacy. He didn’t care about the caste system; he only cared about talent. He believed everyone should have the right to get an education. With so many lower-caste people, if they were educated properly, he wouldn’t have to worry about not having enough capable people like other kingdoms.

Rikto decided to support artists, musicians, and writers to create a vibrant cultural scene that attracted visitors and enriched the lives of citizens. He also organized festivals, fairs, and exhibitions to celebrate the kingdom’s heritage and achievements.

He promoted craftsmanship and developed industries that produced finished goods from raw materials, such as jewelry from gemstones and tools from metals.

Rikto believed that by implementing these strategies, "Navaratna" could definitely develop a robust and sustainable economy in a few years.

After doing all these things, Rikto decided to focus on developing the military. He also decided to create a strong spy network.

Rikto envisioned his army to be physically fit, intellectually sharp, morally upright, and deeply committed to the welfare of the kingdom.

He established military schools to specially recruit and train soldiers. In these schools, soldiers would be trained in several stages. First, they would go through a rigorous physical training period. They would have to participate in various activities, including gymnastics, running, wrestling, and other forms of physical exercise to ensure they were in peak condition.

Then they would learn military skills like how to use various types of weapons, military tactics, and various forms of combat. They would also participate in various simulated battle scenarios to prepare for real-life situations and enhance their strategic thinking.

The most exceptional soldiers will be further trained to become army officers. They would be the backbone of the kingdom and the army. Their salaries would also be the highest in the kingdom.
