I woke up, with an overwhelming feeling of happiness. I just had the most wonderful dream where Kiyotaka and I were together, living in peace surrounded by our beautiful children. My heart fluttered at the thought, and I hugged my pillow tightly, imagining our eventual union. To think that my life would change so quickly in only a day.

Stretching my arms lazily, the soft sheets rustling around me. I couldn't help but smile as I recalled the way Kiyotaka had looked at me in the dream, it wasn't just a dream in my eyes, it was a prophecy, a glimpse of what's to come. This was the future I intended to fulfill even if I have to sacrifice everything else.

Checking the clock it was already 10 A.M. Deciding not to waste anymore time I got out of bed. All the while humming a tune to myself, I began tidying up my room, doing my daily chores. I made a simple breakfast, consisting of an omelet, rice and peas. Even while doing mundane tasks my mind constantly kept going  back to Kiyotaka. For the first time in my life I felt as if I had control, no longer did I feel that events were happening because of outside influence. It's as if the universe had finally aligned in my favor. I glanced at my phone, there were already  over 40 notifications, most of them asking what I plan on doing for Christmas, deciding to ignore those, I texted the only person that mattered.

[Good morning, Kiyotaka! Let's meet up for a Christmas date. I'll see you at Keyaki mall at noon, okay? And don't think about refusing or I'll get reallllly mad.]

I can't believe I'll be spending Christmas with Kiyotaka! Yesterday we had a few pests disturbing us, but this time, I intend to make sure no one bothered us on this special day.

My phone buzzed, it was a message from Kiyotaka. I quickly opened it.

[Okay]

Such a simple response was enough to make me feel light-headed. This was it. This was the moment I had been waiting for, a beautiful outing with my prince. Now that Kei was no longer an obstacle, Kiyotaka was mine. Completely, utterly mine.

I could feel a sense of giddiness took over me, as my fingers flew over the keyboard.

[Don't make a girl wait okay?]

After sending the message, I hugged my phone to my chest, the fluttering in my heart increased. I couldn't wait to see him again. I love him so much that it's almost painful. There was still a little bit of time before the date, so I started getting ready.

Walking to my closet, I had to make sure I was presentable. What would make Kiyotaka's heart flutter? I wondered, holding up a soft, cream-colored sweater and a knee-length burgundy skirt. It was perfect for winter—cozy yet stylish. I paired it with black tights and elegant ankle boots. Every detail had to be perfect. I carefully applied my makeup, ensuring every stroke was flawless. Today had to be unforgettable.

Dressed in casual clothes, I left my room, my steps light and airy. With it being Christmas, there was no school today. The dormitory was quieter than usual, many students were either inside or were out celebrating. I made my way to Keyaki mall, while walking, the dream from last night kept replaying in my head, the beautiful life we shared. It felt so real, and now it seemed like it was all coming true.

I arrived at Keyaki Mall a full thirty minutes early, my heart racing with excitement. Every minute felt like an eternity, but the wait will eventually be worth it. Each passerby seemed insignificant compared to the thought of seeing Kiyotaka.

Twenty minutes passed, then I saw him. Kiyotaka's calm and handsome face made my heart skip a beat. He approached, his eyes meeting mine.

"Did I keep you waiting?" he asked, his voice as steady as ever.
