"We bought it at an auction from the bank,so we never knew who lived here." Roger said.

"Well, what we all feel is,your house needs..a cleansing." Ed said as Lorainne and I nodded. "An exorscism."

Roger looked at us worridly. "What..an..exorcism? I thought that I thought that was something you do to people!" He said, shocked

"No. Not necessarily,no." Lorainne
added

"Oh my gosh. We have to get out of here." Carolyn said, terrified

"I'm afraid that won't help." I said. "I saw something. Lorainne did, too. Go ahead,Lorainne."

"I've been seeing the dark entity that haunts your house. And your land. I saw it first when I came through your door. It was latched to your back. And then I saw it again with the girls when we walked into the living room. And it doesn't matter where you go. This dark entity has latched itself to your family."

"And it's feeding off of you." I said

"Even if we leave?" Carolyn said.

"Sometimes when you get haunted, it's like stepping on gum. It sticks with you." Ed said

"Look, I gotta tell you. There's a lot of spirits that live in here. But this is the one I'm most worried about because it is so hateful." Lorainne said sincerely.

"Ok,so, what-what do we do? Do we call a priest?" Roger asked.

"I wish it were that easy. Preforming an exorcism is an archaic procedure. Requires years of training, and, even then, I have seen it go...horribly wrong." I say.

"Before we even get that far,the church has to authorize it first. This means that we have to investigate and provide proof. And that's the hard part." Ed says, ending the interview.

As we walk out of the house,I get called inside by Andrea. "Y/n! Hey,I have a question." I turn around and say "hey whats up?" She looks back at her mom,as if she's asking for the ok."Do you wanna spend the night? I was just wondering." I look back at Lorainne and say "yeah of course that'd be..that'd be great!"

"Have your kids ever been baptized?" Ed asks Roger.

"No, we're not really a churchgoing family. He says, chuckling

"Well, you might wanna rethink that. Our presence might make things worse." Ed says, going out the door.

"Why?" Carolyn says, looking tired.

"Because we're a threat. And whatever you're dealing with here isn't gonna like us. So far, anything hasn't done anything violent, and that's a good sign. So we're gonna have our guide do some homework on the property and see what we're up against." Ed says, leaving.

*skip to Ed and Lorainne for a sec*

"Hey,hon!" Ed says from the other room. "Yup?" Lorainne says, looking at her necklace. "You're not going to believe this. Carolyn's voice didn't record." He sets down the recorder as Lorainne asks."What do you mean?" He hits play,"listen." He says. He's right. It doesn't record. "Nothing. The whole time." He says. "I don't know. Do you find anything?"
