Bible was driving to the wedding venue, his heart heavy with a mix of emotions. He couldn't shake the image of Jeff in his wedding suit, ready to marry someone else. The thought of Jeff becoming someone else's husband tore at his soul, but he was determined to see him one last time.
As he sped down the highway, rain started to pour, making the road slippery and visibility poor. Bible's mind was racing, his thoughts a jumbled mess. He didn't notice the truck swerving into his lane until it was too late. He slammed on the brakes, but the car skidded out of control. The last thing he saw was the truck's headlights before everything went black.
Jeff was in the middle of his wedding ceremony Bible's been in an accident," Jesse whispered urgently. "He's in the hospital."
Jeff's heart dropped, and he felt a rush of panic and dread. "What did you say?" he stuttered, his voice shaking.
Bible's been in an accident," Jesse whispered urgently. "He's in the hospital.said , tears welling up in his eyes.
Without a second thought, Jeff ran out of the wedding hall, ignoring the shocked and concerned looks from the guests and his family. He rushed to the hospital, his mind focused solely on Bible.
When he arrived, he demanded to see Bible. The doctors explained the severity of Bible's injuries. "He suffered significant trauma," the doctor said gently. "He's in a deep coma. There's a less than 50% chance that he'll wake up."
Jeff's heart shattered at the news. He felt like he couldn't breathe, the weight of the situation pressing down on him. "I need to see him," Jeff whispered, his voice breaking.
The doctor nodded and led him to Bible's room. Jeff's eyes filled with tears as he saw Bible lying motionless, hooked up to various machines.
Jeff sat beside Bible's hospital bed, still dressed in his wedding suit. His eyes were red and swollen from crying. He gently held Bible's hand, hoping somehow his touch would reach him through the coma.
"Bib, please wake up," Jeff whispered, his voice breaking. "I need you. I can't do this without you."
The room was silent except for the steady beeping of the heart monitor. Jeff leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to Bible's cheek, tears spilling down his face. "I broke off the wedding," Jeff continued, his voice thick with emotion. "I couldn't go through with it, not when you're the one I love. I can't live without you."
Days passed, and Jeff stayed by Bible's side, caring for him. He barely slept or ate, his entire focus on Bible. One afternoon, his father came to visit, his expression stern and concerned.
"Jeff," his father began, "we need to talk about your marriage. When are you planning to reschedule the wedding?"
Jeff looked up, his eyes filled with sorrow. "What about Bible? I can't leave him like this."
His father sighed, frustration evident in his voice. "His family will look after him. You need to think about Chris and our family. Everyone was shocked by what you did. You're a celebrity, Jeff. Do you know what rumors are going around about you? People are saying you still love Bible and used Chris to hide your secret relationship."
Jeff's heart sank, the weight of his father's words pressing down on him. "But..."
His father cut him off, his voice firm. "Have you thought about us? Or Chris? He’s still waiting for you, Jeff. You can’t keep everyone in limbo because you can’t let go."
Jeff felt a wave of guilt crash over him. He turned back to Bible, tears streaming down his face. "I'm so sorry," he sobbed, clutching Bible's hand tightly. His head fell onto Bible's arm as he cried, his shoulders shaking with the force of his emotions.
He looked up and saw tears flowing down Bible's face. His heart skipped a beat, hope flaring in his chest.
"Bib? Can you hear me?" Jeff wiped the tears from Bible's cheeks, his voice trembling. "I'm here, Bib. Please wake up. I need you so much."
Bible's eyes remained closed, but the tears kept flowing. Jeff's heart broke further as he realized that Bible's body was reacting, even if he couldn't wake up yet.
"Please, Bib, come back to me," Jeff begged. "I need you more than anything. I don't care about the rumors or what people think. I just want you to wake up and be with me."
He leaned down, pressing his forehead against Bible's. "I love you, Bib. I always have and always will."
The room was silent, save for the beeping of the heart monitor and Jeff's soft sobs. Jeff stayed there, holding Bible's hand, praying for a miracle, knowing that the road ahead was still long and uncertain.
