My parents are always on vacation and I have to take care of the bakery.

I'm exausted and SUPER HUNGRY. All I had was a cupcake which was burnt halfway.

Can this day get any worse...

*phone rings*

It's my dad. he's really strict about the bakery. and he also doesn't like me talking to guys since the 'thinking out loud' incident (chapter 1).

"Hello?" I say

"Hey sweetie!"

"Hi dad! How's vacation?" I say sarcastically

"It's amazing.. we went to Switzerl-"

Time stopped.

The boy from the dance last night is in the bakery. OMG WHAT DO I DO. PANIC. PANIC. PANIC.

"Yea.. that's amazing dad.. Got to go love you byeeeeeeee."

"Um ok but---"

*Hang up*

The boy is approaching. Ugh ok. I have to pee. dang it. stay cool. act natural.

"Hi!" He says.

"Hey! Um... Welcome to 'De-lish Bakery' table for 1?"

"... you look familiar? Have we met before?" He says looking into my eyes.

I can't reveal myself to him. What if he doesn't like me? What if he never comes here again?? I can't tell my dad!! My dad will flip out! I can't UGH.

"No." I say

"Oh, because you remind me of someone." He says upset

"Really? Who?"

"It's.. it's nothing...." He says upset

"Ok.. Follow me."

I then take him to a table with two chairs.

I bring him a glass of water with a lemon.

"You look really familiar..."

"Really? Who do I look like?" I say as I take a seat.

"So. yesterday there was a dance. and... and.. I dressed up as Prince Florian. You know: the prince from Snow White. And I saw this girl. ah, she was beautiful. She was Snow White and I asked her to dance. but I never saw her again."

"Oh," I say

"Yea.. I miss her. I wish I knew who she was."

"Im..." I say confidently

"Your what?"

"I'm!...Gonna... get...you.. some more WATER!" I say stupidly

"Um. ok." he says confused

I get him some more water and he asks:

"What's your name?"

"Destiny."

"I'm Chase. Nice to meet you!"

He leaves a $10 bill on the table and leaves.
