Chapter 06

Maya POV

After spending lunch shopping on Lucifer's dime, it started with (two bags  matching shoes but then he let me get four more items some sun glasses and stuff Hey I'm a girl I like nice things too!) and  plus I didn't care about Camron. I wanted to know why it mattered so much to him. Camron was a low level drug dealer Lucifer doesn't look like the type who would even deal with a guy like that. After lunch the second half of the day takes time to end. My phone beeps and I look down on a text from Lucifer that says meet me by my car. He is so bossy today like something changed but what? is all I think as I text him back. Once the class ends I quickly gather my stuff walking out the door. I meet with Coco as Cain walks to us and we walk to the parking lot "Bianca just text. She left with Justin today" is all I say as Coco laughs. Once I'm in the parking lot I see Lucifer leaning against his car smoking a cigarette. Smoking is a horrible habit but he makes it look so good as I think as I have never wished to be a cigarette as much as I am right now.

He sees us walking towards him and he flicks the cigarette "Justin said we can meet him and Bianca at a place called Frozen Kings." Is all he says as he opens the door for me. I get in then look to him. Once he gets in I look at his lips thinking back to that kiss. The way his lips felt on mine how I want to do it again. I think back to his hand and how I didn't want him to move it. Hell if he would have moved his hand up I would have let him. I wanted to feel it. He glances at me as he drives "what are you thinking about Vixen?" I shrug my shoulders "nothing my mind went blank for moment" is all I say lying to him I'm not going to say I was drooling over him he is already  conceited as it is. He smirks as he drives "sure it did Vixen." He stops at a red light lighting his blunt before he turns to get on the freeway. "Do you smoke?" Is all he asks me I nod my head "not all the time " is all I say before he passes to me I hit it twice coughing "this is strong." He laughs "I don't do anything weak Vixen..you should know that about me."

I cut my eyes from his words "so  "Lucifer, at least tell me why do those people mean so much I mean isn't that the game; dealers don't like others to take money out of their mouths." Is all I say as I pass him back his blunt he puffs it "fine but when I tell you this it stays with us" I nod my head promising him I won't say anything to anyone. He puffs his blunt "those people are my people they sell for me" to say I was shocked was understatement why does he need to sell drugs the boy is loaded. " Why are you doing that" he passes me the blunt "I do it because I like to I like the thrill of doing it" is all he says like it's nothing. I puff it twice coughing again then I say "so you just sell drugs to do it" he exits the freeway laughing " Vixen I haven't begun to show you the real me. One thing I can guarantee is that I'm not like any man you have ever met." HIs words made me wonder and made me way more curious about him.

He finishes the blunt pulling into the parking lot parking his car. He gets out opening the door for me I get out walking towards the building. Once we walk in I see Bianca sitting with Justin Cain and Coco. They look up towards us. I order my usual then Lucifer orders putting topping on them then he pays he never lets me. Once we walk and sit at the table Justin looks at Lucifer guess what Bianca told me" is all he says to Lucifer I look at her and she gives me a look then looks at the table by the window then back to me. I follow her eyes and that's when I see Kentrell and Michel two members of the Dough Boys and Camron home boys. Kentrell was tall but skinny he had a bald head with tats on his face and gold teeth. And Michel was short and kind of fat. He had short braids and wore a lot of cologne like too much. Lucifer eats some frozen yogurt as he looks to Justin "I hope it's some good news" Justin leans back in the seat "oh it is you know those two" he glances in their direction then leans in "are acquaintances with the problem we are having." Lucifer looks at him and tells them to deal with it. I look towards him like WTF they both get up as Coco and Bianca just watch like I do with our mouths hanging open.
