Maya POV

Lucifer gets off the phone and we pull up to his house. "I will call up Marquee and set up at a meeting with him, where you two can talk business." He pulls in as the gate opens "thank you Vixen we have business to handle tonight and after that I will call my contact so we can work on finding your father." Is all he says I try to work out how I feel about the whole situation. I'm happy that I have a parent out there that may give a crap about me. But I know better than to get my hopes up Claire beat that out of me long ago. What about my sibling especially the one that is adopted out is all I think.

I shouldn't even look for him he probably has a happy life. He doesn't need me crashing in and fucking that all up. The sound of the car door opening gets me out of my head. I take Lucifer's hand as he helps me out as he speaks "you know if you can't find nothing you have Cain and Justin they are just like annoying brothers, and you have your girls that's like having sisters for life." I could tell he was trying to make me feel better. Keep me out of my head And it was working. I walk into the house with him "yeah your right" he smiles as his phone rings and he looks down at it groaning "I really don't have time for this shit right now!" Is all he says in an agitated tone. I look at him "is everything okay?" Is all I ask as we walk into the kitchen. You can smell the food that Lucy is preparing and it smells Divine. Now that's something I could get used to is all I think.

"It's nothing much just my uncle being a pain in my ass. He thinks he can tell me what to do for my family's business. But he knows that it's not happening I have already let him know." He was being very vague I could pry to try and get more information out of him or I could just wait for him to open up. I can be patient so I will wait for him to come to me. "He seems very persistent" he  grabs two bottles of water handing one to me as he speaks "yeah but he seems to forget that I'm his boss not the other way around my father left the business to me not his brother or his father so they have no say in what I do" he drinks some water "they should be happy I let them work there, and my uncle better be lucky I don't want to take over." He says. We walk upstairs to his room I walk to his bed sitting down "I have been thinking about that.. you know you could do both the business is always a cover story but it's possible."

He sits down beside me as he speaks "it is but the business world seems so boring." I smirk a seductive smile"I know a way to make it exciting for you!" He looks at me over stopping at my lips "oh and what do you have in mind Vixen." I lean in and kiss his lips softly then I pull away. "Let's just say I know how to make your days and nights way more exciting." Is all I say before he leans in capturing my lips again this time the kiss is hot. He softly bites my bottom lip causing me to softly gasp. After a hot make out session we go downstairs just in time for dinner. I make Lucifer's plate then mine he smiles as he says thank you. As we sit and eat he talks with his sister and his mother asks me questions to get to know me more. She is a nice woman with a wonderful sense of fashion. I can tell she is head strong that's where Lucifer gets it from. She tells me why she named him Lucifer.

I was always curious on how he got that name. It's unique for sure but fits him in a way. I enjoyed our dinner and afterwards Lucifer tells his mother that he and I will be stepping out for a moment. She smiles "sure but later on come find me Maya I would love your opinion on some designs, they are for a younger crowd and I can tell from your style that you're just the girl to ask." Is all she says  I smile from her words "thank you I'm honored to help" is all I say. As I take Lucifer's hand he walks with me to the garage to get into the car. He opens the door for me and i get in "my mom seems to like you" is all I hear him say once he gets into the car. I smile from his words because who wouldn't want their boyfriends mother to like them. He drives off once the garage opens.

I look at him as he lights a blunt "so where are we going Lucifer." He turns down the music before he speaks "well Cain and Justin have found the marks that your two friends have to take out to prove they are loyal." Is all he says like it's nothing. He speaks casually on things that would make a normal person cringe. He passes the blunt to me "once that's done you will be marked the night before the rave." I remember him telling me something about that he also showed me his so I know what it looked like. It's deeper than a tattoo skin is going to be branded for life. Laser removal wouldn't even work on it. I guess its a symbol meaning that this life comes with pain and is for life. I puff the blunt coughing twice "does Coco and Bianca know what's about to happen?" Is all I ask as I pass the blunt back.
