 It was an hour before Shyla was done with her new room, she went to find her brother only to see him talking with their mother while he was leaning against the door to the outside. He looked at her with a small smile. "Ready to go Shy?"

"Mhm, I am."

"We'll be back in about an hour or so."

"Sure thing, try to keep things short and sweet. You don't want to stress your father out while he's in jail."

"Yeah-I know."

The two of them left out and shyla looked at Laxus curiously. "So how long have you been keeping in touch with father for?"

"Well, ever since you and lin were Thirteen, I wanted to know what the hell our father was thinking having such a stupid ass contract with Rogue's family. But knowing now that it wasn't just our father but our mother as well-I dropped it for the most part. Our father did tell me that I had to make sure to protect both of you until he chose, then protect the one he chose with everything I had. I'm more than okay with protecting you than that brat Shylin." Laxus said as he drove to the jail

Shyla looked down at her hands sadly "I'm worried about papa Laxus...What..What if he doesn't like that I'm coming to see him?"

"He won't be like that I assure you, he defiantly plays favorites with you being his favorite child of all time. Whenever I see that old bastard, you're the first one he asks about. Not mom, not me, not Shylin...you. When he sees you he'll probably start bawling his eyes out so keep that in mind."

"Oh...I...I see. Do you know why he favorites me over the two of you?"

"Not a damn clue, but you can ask him when you see him."

It wasn't long before he got to the parking lot for the jail. The two of them went in and Laxus went to talk to the secretary about the two of them seeing their father. They were taken to an open area where there were tables and chairs. They were sat down at a table together before they managed to see their father. Shyla's eyes lit up seeing her father before she got up and hugged him tightly. "Papa!"

He smiled seeing that Shyla still looked up at him and hugged her back. "It's good to finally see you Shyla, how have you been all this time?"

She looked up at him with teary eyes. "Shylin has made my life hell papa, mom still refuses to see all the bad things about her. She believes Shylin more than me. When....When will you be getting out papa?"

"Two weeks. Seems like some paper work had been mixed up. So I'm being let out then."

Her eyes lit up hearing what her father said. "So you get to see me graduate!" She said happily

"That I will sweetie. I'm glad to be able to do so. Just don't tell your sister."

Shyla went back to sitting beside Laxus and shook her head with her arms crossed as he sat across from them. "I'm not on talking terms with that bitch."

He raised an eyebrow at her. "What do you mean you aren't on talking terms with her?"

Laxus placed a hand on her shoulder motioning for her to let him explain everything, she nodded her head looking at her elder brother before Laxus looked at their father. "Apparently, Shylin has been shacking up with a group of males since the girls were thirteen. Earlier today Shyla spilled a lot of things that had been covered up in lies from Shylin. Shylin probably won't be graduating this year because of how horrible her grades are. Unlike Shyla here, she's the class president of her class as well as first in class. She has been helping Rogue out with getting his grades up which has improved himself being at the house."
