Chappells pov

I'm in my dressing room for my show tonight in los angles doing my makeup. as I'm putting my eyeshadow on when my manager, Dana comes in, "Chappell, your on in 5.'' She says. "Thanks Dana." As she walks out I sigh, I have the feeling I haven't felt since my first few shows, nervousness. I usually don't feel like that since my crowd always is so welcoming, kind and so electric. They always make me feel so safe and accepted to be who I am on stage. but I just had this weird gut feeling to put on a good show, I always do, but I feel like I need to do more.

Sydneys pov

I hear my alarm go off, today's the day I see Chappell I think to myself. I haven't seen Chappell since high school when she still used the name Kaleigh, and we've both changed in the last 8 years since graduation, we have definitely lived separate lives since then. we never stayed in contact which still surprises me since we were best friends. Even if we wrote almost her whole debut EP, School Nights together.

I start to the bathroom and I do the basics, get dressed and do my hair and makeup. Then I hear my bestfriend and roommate, Gracie walk down the hall, I helped Gracie write her songs for all of her past albums since her first one, minor. and we even have a song together planned for her next album. "Sydney! It's time to see Chappell!" She says in a sing-song voice. "How was last night writing with Taylor??" I ask, "it was very hectic.. don't ask.. anyways, you ready?'' "Yep, is the driver outside?" "Yes, now come on we will be late!" As she yanks my hand and leads me to the car. I think Gracie loves Chappell as much as I do, even though me and Gracie have a 2 year age gap we both still hung out with Chappell in any classes we could get together.
