As soon as they arrived at their house, Aarohi went straight to her room, as she wasn't feeling well. Aditya followed her to their room, as he wanted to talk to her. And a few moments later, the rest of the family members arrived.
"Aaru, are you ok?" He asked her. Aarohi's back was facing Aditya, so when he asked her, she got startled as she was so lost in her own thoughts she didn't realise that he was standing behind her. She turned towards him and hugged him as she couldn't hold herself anymore.
"In my 24 years of life when I was with them, they never showed a single percent affection for me. Only my grandpa and bhai were my supporting pillars." She said in between her sobs. Aditya hugged her back while trying to comfort her.
"After Dadi's death, Bhai was sent to the hostel. Leaving me alone between known strangers. That one year was very harsh for me, Aditya. It was my luck that Rajveer joined my school, and he approached me." She looked at him with her teary eyes.
"I never liked going to school until my house became a place of trauma for me. I went to school because only Rajveer could comfort me. My parents never tried to understand me." Her breaths were a little uneven, but she tried hard to stay normal, as at the moment all she wanted was to get out of the hold of her past.
"Mom, dad, dadi, all of them berate me because of Maya Di and her manipulation. Then I was too innocent to understand her tricks; that's why I used to get caught in her plan, and as a result, Dadi would punish me."
"How am I supposed to be okay, Aditya? After so much misery, how am I supposed to be ok?" He didn't say anything, as he felt really bad for it.
"If Grandpa was here, then these people wouldn't have behaved so badly with me in his presence. You know, when I started going to school, no one wanted to be friends with me. I used to feel very lonely and sad at school."
"I told this to my grandpa, and he said that these people do not deserve me. He always said that my best friend will be the one who will understand my turmoil, who will always support me, and R. Rajveer is my best friend who un..understands me & sup...ports me." Aarohi sobbed at the end as she remembered her grandpa's words. Aditya gently caressed her back while listening to her.
"He u..used to tell me th..that Aaru, when y..you grow older th..than you'll m..meet your prince, who will l..like you for th..the way you are, w..who will fight f..for you, who will p..protect you. O..only if I could t..tell him about y..you, on..only if he c..could meet you." She almost whispered to him as she cried hard. Her breath was uneven once again, causing her to stutter.
Aditya felt really bad for Aarohi; he couldn't believe that a 7-year-old child was being blamed for the accident with her grandfather. He felt disgusted by the thoughts of Devyani. He hugged Aarohi and tried to comfort her.
"Aaru Your grandpa won't be happy to see you in this condition. He won't be happy to see that his Aaru's prince failed to take good care of her."He got emotional by seeing her vulnerable state.
