At Goenka House

All the family members except Kajal, along with Aarohi's parents and brother, were present in the hall. The atmosphere in the room was quite tense. Just then Kajal came towards the staircase, calling Aditya's name.

"Adi, Aarohi uth gyi hai!" She said while standing near the staircase. Aditya quickly got up and went towards the staircase; others were about to follow him, but he stopped them in their tracks.

{ Adi, Aarohi has woke up!}

"Wait for a while; I need to talk to her before you all could meet her." He said calmly and went towards his room to see her.

"I didn't expect this from you, Dev." Madhav said gaining everyone's attention. "The way you and your family always praised Maya in front of everyone, no one will believe that Aarohi, being your daughter, was mistreated. How did you fail to see your daughter's misery?" Madhav asked him sternly.

"Madhav I won't reason my mistakes because I know I'm guilty for her sufferings. I'm here to apologise to her, and it's in her hand whether she wants to forgive us or not." Dev replied while his eyes were fixed on the ground.

Meanwhile, in Adirohi's room

Aarohi gained consciousness after a few hours, as the doctor had injected her with some high-dose medicine. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Aditya standing in front of her. Before she could say anything, Aditya sat beside her and held her hand gently.

"How are you now?" He asked in his normal tone. "I'm good now; sorry for bothering you and everyone." She said apologetically.

"You didn't bother anyone, and I'm glad that you shared your past with me. I just want you to feel better, and I want to reduce the burden of the past from your shoulder." He said while gently caressing her hand from his thumb finger.

"Aarohi, your parents and your brother are here to see you." He said after taking a small pause. He looked into her eyes, trying to read her mind as she looked back at him in confusion.

"They want to apologise to you." He said further, earning a curious look from her. "If you're wondering the reason behind their sudden apology, then they'll say it themselves." He said and walked out of the room to bring in her family.

"What's going on here? Why my family wants to apologise to me?" Aarohi thought in her mind while leaning her back on the headboard.

Dev was the first person to enter the room. He looked at Aarohi emotionally while she looked at him in confusion. He went towards her and hugged her. Aarohi was surprised by his action, as she didn't expect a hug from her father.

"I'm sorry, beta. I couldn't become a good father for you; you were suffering alone for so many years, and I didn't even bother to see your sufferings; instead, I was pointing out your mistakes." Dev joined his hand as he begged his apology from his daughter.
