This book comes from 20 audio logs that I have tried to decipher so, whether you're reading this book for language arts or maybe even a school project or perhaps just personal enjoyment, I'm here to tell you that the ending depends on you and you alone. As the ending isn't clear and it's up to you the reader to decide what really happened. Until more audio logs are discovered.
Beyond the hills, beyond the mountains, beyond the deserts and beyond the snow is a perfect town known simply as WaterVill. This town is much different from ours. It's always happy. The people there wear masks with a large smiley face on a yellow background. The eyes move with their eyes but the mouth stays shut in its curved smile. Their features are abstract and absurd. They get taken in the night for “re-educating” and when they return they are never the same There are certain rules they must follow
1. Always wear your mask
2. No one is allowed to see your face without the mask
3. Listen to the speakers
4. Your only allowed to take your mask off at home
5. Listen to the guards
6. Don't joke about re-education
7. Summers are for fun not more work
8. Be positive and negative emotions will be sent to the council for investigating
9. 3 strikes is all you get before re-education
10. No going in the tall black building
