Have you ever had a friend group? Maybe you liked those in it. Well I know I did. We all misbehaved together. Sadly more people were “invited” i never knew about it. The more people who came the more uncomfortable I got. If you don't know, I hate change. It terrifies me especially in a world where everyones the same except for looks. Personality wise? Oh yeah. Everyones so happy. It honestly disgusts me. So i said it once i’ll say it again. I bully others to see their negative emotions. It's a change in the everyday joy that's expressed at a constant rate. My “friends” used to bully others with me to see what negative truly was. We’d push 'em till they snapped. But when more people randomly joined we stopped. Well they stopped, i didn't if you couldn't tell. They pushed me out and found a replacement. Did I cry? A little. Not much. It was only because one of my friends was a girl who had known me since i was born. It was… saddening to see her stare at me with such hatred and disgust and when asked what's wrong point to me,
“him” she said pointing with hatred.
I cried right then and there. First time I ever did. Negative emotions are me laughing at others' misery or being angry. I never once cried. But then and there I did. It was a mixture of betrayal, hatred and despair. Crying they say is the worst offense and because she made me cry. She was taken. But she never came back and I was blamed for it. I sat back down in town square as there wasn't much else to do. As I sat there I saw something. I didn't know what it was at first so I walked closer. It looked red as I walked closer. Like something was there but I just couldn't see it clearly. I walked even closer but before I could see it I felt someone grab my shoulder and pull me away.
“What do you think you're doing!?” It was a guard. He yelled at me with urgency.
“I-... saw something…?” I responded unsure
“What’d you see?” He responded pulling me away “Walk and talk with me”
“I dont know”
“Well you had to have seen something for you to break the rules of going in the forest with the exception of the hiking trail.” He looked at me. “That's not the way of the hiking trail”
“I saw something red. I don't know what it was.” I responded in anger
“And that made you think that it was safe?” He said.
I didn't respond. Just looked at him and he looked at me. He seemed to notice what I was thinking.
“Sorry, wrong word I meant…” He searched for a word. “Allowed. After all, if you see something suspicious you tell a Guard. Don't go towards it.”
I looked at him and sighed. “Right i'm sorry” I responded I wasn't. But my standard apology format slipped my mind.
That's when I realized where we were walking. The Council.
