A week later, the teachers announced the inter-class competition. The scavenger hunt would take the students across the city, where they would solve riddles, overcome obstacles, and gather magical artifacts.
"Our team is going to win this!" Yuji declared confidently.
Nobara rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her excitement. "Just don't slow us down, Itadori."
The teams were a mix of different years, fostering collaboration and camaraderie. Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi found themselves teamed up with Maki, Yuta, and Toge.As they embarked on the hunt, they quickly realized it wouldn't be easy.
The riddles were challenging, and the obstacles required them to use their jujutsu skills in creative ways. But with each challenge, their teamwork and friendship grew stronger. One riddle led them to a hidden alley where they had to find a concealed portal.
Toge, with his cursed speech, managed to reveal it."Nori," Toge said, pointing at the seemingly solid wall.
Yuji touched the wall, and it shimmered, revealing the portal. "Nice one, Toge!"
Another challenge had them navigating through a maze filled with traps, where Maki's agility and Yuji's strength came in handy.
"Watch out!" Maki shouted, grabbing Yuji's arm just as a trapdoor opened beneath him."Thanks, Maki," Yuji panted, his heart racing.
"No problem. Just keep your eyes open," Maki replied with a grin.
As they continued, they encountered Mechamaru and Miwa working together on a puzzle.
"Need a hand?" Yuji offered.Mechamaru shook his head. "We've got this, but thanks. Good luck out there."Miwa smiled. "Yeah, good luck! We'll see you at the finish line."
