(After they went back in the past and fixed the future/present. Red's mother is good. Also there back at school , aka Auradon prep)
Chloe's POV
Chloe was going to her dorm, the celebratory stuff was over and now people were finding their dorms. She still couldn't believe that she saved her mother and Red has a good mom now. She knew that that was what Red wanted all along, a mother who really loved her for who she was. But time travel had consequences so she was exhausted. In that moment she just wanted to lay down.
She finally made it to her dorm and noticed someones stuff was already there. Luckily it was covered in red and black so she knew who it was. But something was nagging her stomach and it made her feel uncomfortable. She decided to shove the feeling down temporarily so she could relax. Chloe put her things away and laid down on her bed. Other people would be wandering the building right now but as surprising as it seems being really peppy and energetic was incredibly draining. She sighed, but right before she closed her eyes Chloe heard the familiar voice of her friend Red in the doorway.
"I thought you'd be excited to tour the place, instead you look tired as fuck." Red smiled as Chloe rolled her eyes, Red and Chloe had just became friends a few days ago but they were very fond of each other. "Language please." Chloe said in a pretend annoyed voice. Red walked in and sat on the opposite bed of Chloe, she shifted her position so that she could look at Red while lying down. Chloe smiled said, "I lost a night of sleep when we snuck into Merlins office, I didn't know it took that long to get a book. Uh, I also get really drained from being so full of energy all of the time."
Red was surprised at hearing this but seemed to understand, she rested her head on her palm and looked at Chloe. "I guess I can understand that, it is weird how you're always so energetic." Chloe nodded, she felt oddly pleasant when Red stared at her. The uncomfortable feelings rushed back up to her stomach when she accidentally glanced at Red's lips. Luckily Red didn't notice but she did notice that Chloe's face looked flushed. "Do you have a fever? Your face is very red." Red pointed out, Chloe's eyes widened and she quickly shook her head. Red tilted her head and walked over.
She pressed the back of her hand on Chloe's forehead. "You're face is a little warm." Red looked at her with a concerned expression. She gulped when Red sat next to her. Chloe stiffened and stammered, "I'm not sick, I just feel... Off." Red looked at her confusingly. Chloe sat up but accidentally brushed Red's hand. The breath left her body when that happened but she quickly recovered. Red noticed this and decided she should test it. She wasn't a touchy touchy person but she felt comfortable with Chloe. Red grabbed Chloe's hand, Chloe's eyes widened but she didn't pull away. Chloe made eye contact with Red and at their hands. "I thought you didn't like to be touched or hugged." Chloe said teasingly, Red's cheeks were tinted pink at this comment and quickly pulled away.
Chloe grabbed her hand as soon as Red pulled away. She intertwined their fingers. "Sorry." Chloe said, Red was surprised by this and squeezed Chloe's hand. She glanced at Red and saw her smiling. The Fairy God Mother walked in a few seconds later, she looked apologetic for interrupting, "Hello! I'm here to deliver your books for class." She left after setting them on their dressers. Chloe was distracted so Red scooted closer to her. Chloe looked at her and saw that their shoulders were touching. Her faced flushed, Red's eyes widened. "Are you sure you're not sick?" Red looked very concerned again, Chloe giggled. Red noticed Chloe's face color was back to normal again. "Why are you laughing?" She asked, Chloe smiled and used her other hand to push a strand of hair behind Red's ear. "I'm glad you worry about me is all." Chloe smiled as Red's face turned into the color of her name. She looked away when Chloe looked at her, "Of course I worry about you." Red said softly, Chloe was a bit shocked by this answer but it only made her smile grow bigger.
Chloe gently grabbed her chin and pulled her to face Chloe. Chloe looked like she was contemplating something. She lost her confidence and let go, Chloe got up and left the room. Red sat there, stunned.
