Chloe's POV
(Then next day)
Chloe walked into the breakfast/lunch room, she grabbed her food and looked around. She was obviously new here and didn't have any friends, so she found an empty table and sat there. She looked visibly sad when she looked around and couldn't see Red. Maybe she scared her off when she almost kissed her. Yeah, she didn't quite know how to figure those feelings out yet. Someone sat down at her table and she immediately looked up hopefully. But noticed it was just some other kid. "Were you expecting someone?" The person asked, he had dark blue hair and really pale skin.
Chloe just shook her head in disappointment. He looked at her and said, "I'm Albert, but I'd prefer Al. You have blue hair and glass shoes so I'm gonna guess that your Chloe, Cinderella's daughter right?" Chloe nodded distantly, Al tilted his head and suddenly came to a realization. "You like someone!" Al laughed as Chloe's face went bright red. "What?! N-no I don't!" She said defensively, he continued to laugh. Right before she was gonna defend herself again she saw a Red figure out of the corner of her eye.
She turned around and saw Red. Red caught her eye and walked over. Her stomach started to do somersaults and realized she was staring. She quickly turned around when Red sat next to her. Al looked at Chloe and Red and put the pieces together. Albert boldly asked, "Are you guys dating?" Chloe covered her face in embarrassment and Red's eyes widened. "No! W-we're just friends. Right Red?" Chloe said quickly, Red looked slightly disappointed but just nodded. "Your very gay." He whispered to Chloe with a hidden smirk, Chloe froze. Suddenly the bell rang and everyone was dismissed from breakfast and sent to classes. Chloe went to alchemy, it was her first class of the day. She noticed Red was walking to alchemy as well, Chloe caught up to her and walked into class with Red.
Red's POV
Chloe sat next to her and Red silently smiled to herself. Chloe may be acting weird lately but she would still sit sit next to Red in classes, good to know. The teacher gave them the assignment but Red wasn't listening. Chloe nudged her, Red looked up and noticed they were supposed to be working. She looked at Chloe and tried to copy what she put into the pot, Chloe noticed and stopped her before she put something wrong in the pot. "Not this one, use this one." Chloe brushed her fingers as she gave her the right beaker with the green liquid in it, it gave Red the chills.
"When were you so good at alchemy?" Red asked, she was secretly impressed. Chloe smiled, "Well I do pretty well in all curriculums, and don't say it, I know I'm a nerd and that I'm 'weird'." Chloe grabbed another beaker and poured it into the pot. Red shook her head, "I don't think you're weird, I'm actually impressed." Red smiled when she saw Chloe look at her in surprise. "Your sweet." Red's smile grew when Chloe said that.
Red's Pov (during free time/when they can do whatever they want)
Chloe sat on the stone bench reading about some school stuff, she didn't notice Red walking towards her. Red stood in front of her and said, "Hi Chlo." Chloe looked up and saw Red, she smiled and scooted over so that Red could sit down. Red looked down and saw a paper sticking out of her study material. "Whats that?" Red asked reaching for the paper, Chloe quickly smacked her hand away, immediately starting to apologize. "I'm so sorry! Is your hand okay? I shouldn't have done that." Chloe gently lifted Red's hand and inspected it in case of any injuries. Red snorted, "It's okay, I shouldn't have reached for it anyway. Besides, I didn't know you could be so overprotective." Chloe put down Red's hand but didn't let go of it. "I will probably always be overprotective when it comes to you." Chloe smiled as she spoke, Red blushed and couldn't stop smiling either.
