"Irah, tawag ka ni Pres."

I turned my head to Jaz who was waiting outside of our classroom's door. I looked at her and whined, "Ang aga-aga may utos agad?"

I was peacefully sitting at the high chair while fixing my club organization and research papers at the lab table. My peripheral vision caught Jaz stepping inside of the room. "Ang aga-aga yan na inaasikaso mo? Irah, paawat na!" Nakakunot ang kanyang noo habang tinitignan ako.

I chuckled at her reaction, "What does our great President want now?" I sarcastically said, arranging my papers before putting them in my tote bag. It was the first day of school so I thought about bringing a small bag since I'm sure, wala naman kaming masyadong gagawin.

"Hades wants us to lead the flag ceremony daw, since may ginagawa ang faculty members. Tara na, hinihintay na tayo non." I nodded as Jaz hooked her arms in mine when I stood up. We went outside of the room, gushes of air welcoming me.

Crestview Farmont Academy never fails to amaze me. From the wide and greenery campus, its buildings stood firm in its might. The architecture was one of the best features of our school, alongside its triumph education offerings.

CFA was recognized as the best academy in our city. I was able to study here since my first year of high school, up until now as a grade twelve senior. Since then, I have decorated my name with many achievements. Winning competitions left and right, joining different organizations, and engaging myself in everything the academy has offered.

I was beyond proud of myself for attaining such fulfilment.

"Wait, daan daw tayo sa STEM building sabi ni Lia." Sabi ni Jaz na ngayo'y nakatingin sa chat ng aming kaibigan. Tumango ako, "Classmate niya si Hades, right?"

"Yup! Hindi pa rin napuputol ang three-year streak nila bilang mag classmates. Pang fourth nato." She laughed. "Imagine? dalawang taon na kayong magkasama sa JHS, tas dagdag dalawang taon pa sa Senior High? Literal na soulmates talaga!"

I agreed with her. We both stopped in our tracks as we arrived at the ground floor of the building. Each strand has their own structure, with three floors each. HUMSS and STEM stood close on the northern side of the campus. While ABM and GAS were at the west part, Arts and Design, Sports and TVL tracks reigned at east.

CFA's Senior High School has its own grounds, while the Junior High part was on the other side of the Field House which was in the middle of the vast land property of our school. This is where all of our sports activities take place.

"Grabe ganda mo Lia, mas nakakasilaw pa sa araw." Sabi ko habang pababa ng hagdan si Lia. She waved her hand off, before linking her arms with Jaz too as she snickered, "Shet dami kong chicks."

"I can't believe that my friends are both SSLG officers! My gosh, iba talaga kayo." Lia exclaimed with happiness. "Sinasama nga kita eh! Edi sana dalawa tayong grade twelve representative." Jaz pouted looking at her. "You know I can't handle being affiliated with more than one club, babe. Okay na ako sa STEM club." Saad naman ulit ni Lia.

I smirked at her, "Ready to become the President of QuanTives part two?" She looked at me knowingly. "Girl, you'll be the HUMSS club President too. I can feel it na," she snorted as Jaz interrupts, "Habang ako filler lang sa ABM. Jusko bakit ko ba pinili strand na yon!" Nagdabog siya habang natawa naman kaming dalawa ni Lia sakanya.
