Xavier was just walking through the hallway when one of the doors opened. He peeked inside and what he saw was mortifying...

Tom walked past a group of Shadow Hunters gossiping.

"Did you hear? Ronald Weasley and Theodore Nott broke up after ~.....~ cheated on -.....- with Hermione Granger!" One person said. "What really?! I can't believe he would cheat in the first place! And with Granger of all people!" Another person said.

'They were in a relationship?!' Tom thought. 'Shit man... now I want to know who cheated!'

Before Tom could ask, the group walked away.

The next morning when Xavier opened the newspaper they saw Grangers body covered with a blanket.

STUDENT FOUND DEATH!

We are sorry to inform you that Hermione Granger was found death [~...........~]

'What did Granger do here in the first place?' Xavier thought. 'And why was Weasley here too?'

"Are you alright, mio angelo?" Xavier asked Tom who was standing silently in front of him.

"Hmm yes.." Tom relaxed when Xavier wrapped his arms around him from behind. He lays his head back on Xavier's shoulder.

"Just didn't slept well last night.." Tom said.

Xavier didn't hesitate after hearing that and scooped Tom up, walking to the living room.

He sat down on the couch placing his lovely mate on his lap. "Sleep mio angelo.." he whispered softly.

Tom looked at him with love and warmth before he got in a more comfortable position and fell asleep.

When Tom was asleep Xavier took the book that still laid on the coffee table and began reading.

After some time Bella and Sev walked in. Their gaze softened when they saw their little boy reading with his mate on his lap.
