We arrived back from Cebu yesterday. Our mommy decided to continue our studies here in luzon after our farm was being sold, and now our expenses depend on our convenience store across from our new home which is in a subdivision, and from my mother's job, which is being a nurse.

My sister said, we may not yet be poor, but it may be where we end up.

When my mother informed us that we were moving and that everything would be left behind but all of our belongings, I literally cried so hard. I even pleaded to bring all my dongwu with us, but she refuses.

Fiesta pa naman last month. What if they end up being a total cook?

"Ano dinner?" Asked by jiejie. I was scrolling through my Ipad when I saw a video of a girl cooking. It's a cooking tutorial. "How about pasta na lang ang dinner natin, My?"

I'm not craving pasta for dinner. I'm also not craving anything else, but I prefer beef since I ate pork at lunch.

"Can you cook beefsteak instead, My?" I suggested.

"Discuss that with your jiejie." Mommy responded as she helped Nana arranging the vases. I turned to Jiejie who looked at me pleading, as if asking me to give her this. I stuck out my tongue and giggled.

"Beefsteak na lang, Mommy, please..." I saw how my sister's eyes rolled and stomped her foot aggressively.

"What if pasta na may beefsteak, Siobe?"

"Yuck!" I immediately reacted upon her suggestion. She chuckled.

Pasta beefsteak? That's absurd! I rather eat pasta tuna— it's my favorite pasta. Pero pasta na beefsteak?

Ano yan?

Imbento masyado!

"Gulay na lang, Savanna. Mas mabuti yun sa mga bata, hindi puro ganyan." Sabay kami ni Jiejie napalingon kay Nana na tapos na sa ginagawa. "At isda ang ihalo mo."

"No!" I shouted.

It took me a lot of time to convinced my mother to cook something else, but ended up doing her mother's words. Jiejie and I are now facing with eachother, staring like as if we're regretting for not dealing with eachother.

But pasta-beefsteak is kind of weird. I would prefer skipping dinner tonight.

As the prayer ended, we heard the door bell rang, therefore, Mommy insisted to open it by herself. Hinintay muna namin siya. I turned to Jiejie again, looking at the food with disgust.

"Ma," naka-turn around ako sa sala, so I turned my back to see my mother, who's now with— I don't know who they are.

Who are they?

I looked from head to toe at the woman whom I thought was the most elder sister holding a— pasta!? My eyes widened with amusement, and I was even happier when I saw a probably 20 years old boy. He's carrying buttered shrimp!
