"Sama ako!" I pleaded as I ran towards my sister who's now walking out from our home.

"Cleo, Isa!" I heard my Mommy's warning for the third time. "Get inside, Cleo!" I face my mother, standing at the doorway, waiting for me to get in.

I just wanted to go with my sister. Isang linggo na akong nabubulok sa bahay! At hindi lang kaya sila ang nag-alala! I have feelings too!

"I don't wanna!" I wanted to go see Ate Davi too. I wanted to check her too. I wanted to know if she's fine too.

We recieved a message lastnight about her situation, that makes us all worried. Nahimatay raw ito during playing badminton with her little brother, Kuya Luwiz, and then she didn't woke up until now.

They are our cousins. Ate Davi is one of my Jiejie's bestfriend, the closest cousin of mine apart from Ate Saleeh and Ate Gianna, who also happens to be my Jiejie's and Ate Davi's bestfriends. They are magpinsan slash mag-bestfriends. Cool, isn't it? Same age lang sila at magka-vibe rin, and I'm so jealous.

Si Uno na lang kasi ang kaedad ko sa lahat ng pinsan. That brute!

"Paulan na, Cleo. Wag na magmatigas, pumasok ka na." That was my Nana, na ngayon ay nakatayo beside ni Mommy, also waiting for me to get inside.

"Cleo..." Mommy called again. I pouted, untying my long wavy hair. "Sige na. Let's just wait for your Jiejie. Baka bukas pa tayo makabisita. Wag muna ngayon." It was calm. Since I have no other choice but to obey, I just nodded and slowly walk my feet inside.

I went inside with a heavy chest. When I finally get in, I immediately reach for my iPad and contact Jiejie, requesting her to send my regards to Ate Davi because I was unable to do so before.

I let a heavy sigh.

Ang chararat na yun! Maduga talaga, she told me last night to bring me with her, pero sinosolo niya lang!

Napalingon ako kay Nana dahil napansin ko itong nagsirado ng mga kurtina.

"Is it raining?" I asked. She just gave me a smile and a nod as response.

"Palitan mo yang medjas mo, ang dumi." Wika ni Mommy, nakatingin sa akin. "I'm gonna wash your slipper, so wear the other one for now."

"Okay," I responded, doing what she says. I walk straight to my room to change my socks and get a new pair of slippers. Afterwards, I went to sala only to see Haven at the door way, all wet!

My eyes widened.

"Why are you here?" I mouthed.

"Hello, Cleo!" She greeted enthusiastically. "Your mom agreed!" I look at her with confusion. I looked at Mommy who had just come out from the laundry area.

"Wear this," she handed me my short short. "Ligo raw kayo ng ulan." My eyes widened even more, but when I heard Haven's giggles, I gaze at her and smile widely.

"Bilis na!" Tumango ako at kinuha ang nilahad ni Mommy saka ay nagpalit, leaving the same shirt I wore earlier but different lower. I also took my socks off.

"Wag kayo lumayo, ah!" Bilin ni Mommy bago kami lumabas.

"Good thing I got through to your mommy. I thought she won't let you!" She apprised as we ran hand in hand, catching every downpour.

This is my first time after a long time! Ngayon lang ulit ako nakaligo, and it feels amazing. Para tuloy akong binabalikan sa mga memories back in Cebu. I miss my childhood there.

"Thank you," I giggled.

We run and play in the rain till our feet take us to their supper big big house. Manang Jona left the gate open, so we could play tag inside. This is not my first time in here. Sa loob ng isang week kaming nagkakilala ay pabalik balik ako sa house nila.
