Chapter 2

"Ok, so to recap, Nori Vol the owner of the Heart of Darkness went rogue and started killing other owners of Hearts?"

"Correct, no doubt she is also looking for the others with hearts,"

"And only 9 hearts exist?"

"Also correct,"

"So the other hearts or, people with these powers are my age,"

"Exactly, you should all even have the same birthday! Isn't that exciting!" Cecilia said almost giddy with laughter. I was confused beyond belief this was all a lot to try to understand in what 3 hours? I really wish I had brought my watch with me, ever since I discovered my powers I could feel the water beneath my feet, and the urge to use it was great but something in the back of my head was stopping me, I looked out the window but something was off we weren't in Delaware anymore but we also weren't in the U.S we were driving on the water

"Your power has allowed us to practically float on the water we wouldn't have been able to do this if it wasn't for you,"

"Wait, so how did you get there in the first place?"
"A boat?" she said like it was obvious

"How am I supposed to find the other people?"

"Honestly we don't know, we had a hard time finding one,"

"How did you find me? You don't seem like the type of person to waste resources,"

"The water," she said quickly

"Huh?"

"The water's waves move in your direction, that's why it was so easy to find you, after we figured out your general area we just had to get information,"

"Why did it take so long for you to try and find me?"
"Nori has struck and declared her intentions to have world domination, and it would be possible with her power," I saw a shadow flicker like it was being controlled and when I looked up it was of a female guard

"What's your name,"
"Cori Bell mam," she said shortly I looked at her more closely but I turned back to Cecilia

"What does Nori look like? I think that would be good to know if I'm supposed to keep an eye out for her,"

"Nori," she paused "she normally kept her face hidden but I do know she had black hair and blue eyes, like ice blue eyes it was almost creepy," Kyra thought of the guard behind her, that fit her description and that's when she saw a shadow stand up behind Cecilia without thinking Kyra pulled the water from under the car up and shot it at the shadow which caused it to fly backwards and the guard behind her swore, Kyra looked back to the guard and she was standing straight again with a blank expression why didn't she react, she would have seen it to

"Why in the world did you do that?" Cecilia asked pushing her wet hair out of her face

"There was a shadow, it, it stood up it was going to cover your face, I didn't even think it kind of just happened,"

"Then we are a little late," Cecilia muttered to herself "No matter we will work with what we got we just have to work a little harder," she said speaking louder

"I'm still like really confused what's happening?"

"You will find out in short time," Cecilia said I was really starting to dislike her
