Ray Secret crush 💞 (part 1)

Many years back...
Ray could be seen sitting down on a bench alone with everyone seemingly to be treating him like he's invisible or something. He's used to it as not many would want to talk to him.

He has Dr Tao to talk to and it's enough for him. When he first join miniforce, it was hard for him to get used to the new life routine. It took a while for him to adjust to his new life. He has been in miniforce for many years so he is coping fine. His hard work earned him a place as a secret elite agent.

Ray looked around and suddenly spotted a female animal looking at him. She has a small brown beak and a very colorful small tail which is in red, orange and yellow. It is a beautiful combination of colours and she has a light pink body shaped a bit like the other animals. Ray caught himself staring at her.

He suddenly felt a little tense but in a joyful way. He couldn't understand his own feelings. He looked away and avoided contact at her any longer as he knew she wouldn't like someone like him.

He then got a call from commander Chen that he needed to go on a mission. Ray walked over to HQ in a place only for special miniforce agents. Before he walked away, he caught a glance at the fiery peacock and she noticed him looking at her. Their eyes met for a few seconds then Ray walked away acting he doesn't care while the peacock was a little confused for a second then she snickered. Not in a teasing way but happy to see that someone like Ray came into eye contact with her.

Ray woke up and sat right up on his bed and wondered about her again. It is an anonymous but yet comforting feeling. But he quickly shook it away remembering the dark side of the story. He felt a little uneasy at first but managed to overcome it after he cleaned himself up. He looked up and looked at himself in the mirror. He remembered how much this female peacock, Tina, loves him. However, he couldn't bring himself to accept her love until the last minute. Memories of her are still resurfacing his mind.

"Ray, I accept you for who you are... You're not ugly. You're just different from the others and that's a good thing." She smiled at him and said a final word. "Really." Her smile was sincere and that was one of the things he likes about her. That distinct memory of Tina praising Ray was one of the best things that ever happened to him.

Ray walked out of the bathroom and doesn't hate his own appearance like before. He checked the date of the day and it was the exact date that everything happened. He sighed and thinks his instincts are kicking in as he knows what to do. He has a mission to fulfill before he could meet her.

He walked out of his room and could feel other agents looking at him. He needs to live in a dorm in the meantime because Dr Tao has a business to attend the previous night and will be back today in the afternoon.

Ray walked past the agents who looked at him as they whispered about him. He could hear one of them wondering what breed of animal he is. Ray just kept quiet and pretended not to hear. He doesn't like it when he hears someone talking about what animal species he is.

"I heard he is under the care of Dr Tao and he is a special Miniforce agent. He is an experienced elite Miniforce agent ." The brown bear said.

"Didn't he turn against the miniforce like a few years ago. Or maybe 2 years ago?" The female, white stripes cat said. She spoke a bit too loud.

"Yeah, but that was long forgotten. It was only a misunderstanding. And um... I think he can hear us. Lower down your voice." The bear exclaimed and the cat quickly covered her mouth. They looked over to Ray and noticed him standing very still.
