Chapter 7

"Well, while you were in your dreaming I found a place with quite an abundant amount of wood. So I went in and collected it" Chase, who tried to join the puzzled brain of the confused Cockapoo, implied

"Oh yeah, just noticed that.." 

"Alright lets get back to camp and well get the fire going." Chase directed Skye

"Oh yeah, how long have we been here for anyways?" Skye asked

"Well it felt like ages but trust me, probably 2 hours" Chase answered and winked

"Chase! Thats a long time" Skye shouted

"Ha joke, we've only been here for 20 minutes" Chase giggled

"Chase" Skye, who said in an annoyed tone, did a face palm

As the two arrived back helping eachother with the heavy load of logs; they gave a sigh of relief

"Finally, that was heavy" Chase relievingly stated

"Yeah"

The two set up the campfire and sat by it

"I love it when we're together" Skye said quietly

"Hmm?" Chase looked at Skye

"Oh uh nothing!" Skye nervously spoke

"Alright well, i'll be going to sleep now, you?" Chase tiredly asked

"Oh uh I think i'll be going a bit later" Skye answered

"Alright but make sure you dont disturb me when you come in, im extremely tired"

"Yeah sure whatever" 

'1000000000000 moments later'

*yawns* "Guess im more tired than I expected" Skye smacked her lips and dully looked at the sky before trotting into the tent

"Hey chasey.. I mean Chase." Skye whispered

"Mmm, i told you not to disturb me" Chase, who felt extremely disturbed, turned around and moved further from Skye

"Ugh whatever" 

As morning arrived, the two woke up refreshed and ready for the day

"Good morning, uh what day is it today?" Chase asked as he put his paw on his chin 

Skye thought for a while before answering "Friday" 

"Finally, I cannot spend anymore time with YOU" Chase rolled his eyes

"scoff" 

Chase walked out of the tent and looked around

"Looks like this morning, is going to be a good one" Chase joyfully shared

"Mhm, it'll be better when your here" Skye whispered to herself

"What?" Chase raised an eyebrow

"Huh? Oh uh nothing!" Skye tried to cover up.

"Uhm ok? Anyways, I'm going for a walk, catch ya later!" Chase tried to be informal

"Ok"

~~Skye's mind~~

How do I get him to like me? Does he like me? Does he not like me? WHY do I like him?!

"Skye, SKYE!"

"Woah! Huh? What?" Skye snapped out of her thoughts

"I have been calling you for the last.. 5 minutes! Stupid!" Chase yelled

"5 minutes! *scoff* Please!" Skye rolled her eyes, "WHAT is it?" she roared

"Do you want to come!" 

"Come where? Oh, for a walk? Umm sure"

"Ok, then let's go." 

As they both started to walk, Skye started yapping.. A lot.

"Shut up now can you?" Chase got annoyed

"Okay" Skye was really embarrassed

~~Skye's mind~~

Shit! Wtf did I just do.. Someone I liked told me to shut up! I guess he doesn't like me after all... Should I tell him? Should I confess? Should I wait longer? Should I stop talking to my freaking self?!

Skye snapped back to reality.

"So-"

"Uh-"

Chase and Skye spoke at the same time..

"Ok, you go first" Chase insisted

"Umm ok.. I... L-l-l-LIKE.. YOU!" 

Chase was flabbergasted and astonished

Skye blushed hard.. Turning as red as the sky during sunset

"Y-you do?" Chase asked 

"YES!" Skye confirmed, "What were you about to say?"

"Uhhh, we can forget about that!" 

~~Chase's mind~~

Oh no, she likes me! I was about to say I hate her.. What should I say?

"Ok I guess... But do you feel the same way maybe?" Skye asked as she fluttered her eyelashes

"Um.. I don't know." Chase replied

"Oh" Skye looked down

"Ok, we have walked for about 10 mins now." Chase pointed, "uh I think we should go up that hill?" 

Skye just stayed quiet, following Chase which made him give her a subtle look.

"Uhm, so do you want to or not?" Chase asked stubbornly

"SHUT UP!" Skye screamed

"Woah.." Chase was left in shock as he saw Skye sprint back to camp

"What's got her leash in a knot?" Chase asked himself. "Oh, its probably because I don't like her back"

~~With Skye~~

"He doesn't like me!" Skye bursted into tears.

You can make him like you darling

"Huh?! Oh, its just my mind.. How?"

Maybe... Drag him into a deep loving kiss, he'll love that!

"Ooh! That would set the mood. Good idea brain, or heart? Eh idgaf who said that." Skye added her thoughts

Now dear, wait for him to come in and then, pull him in and kiss him for a long time. If he tries to pull apart, prevent him from doing so. Love relies on cupid!

"Hehe, good idea."

With Chase>>

"Well I guess I'll go back too?" Chase asked himself "I still can't believe she likes me-" 

~~Chase arrives~~

"Oh I hear him! He's here.. Kissing mode- ACTIVATE!" Skye exclaimed in excitement.

~~Chase enters the tent~~

Now is your chance bae!

As soon as Skye heard her inner self say that, she pulled Chase into the most deepest kiss ever. She pushed her lips hard upon his which made him moan super loud. Chase tried to retrieve but failed as Skye held him tight.

Yes, yes, YES! Your doing it Skye! Your kissing him! Your following your inner orders!

"Yes I am!" Skye talked in her mind

Chase used his strength to drift apart. 

"BRO SKYE WTF WERE YOU THINKING!" Chase yelled

"Uhm, what?" Skye acted as if she did nothing

All Chase did was roll his eyes, he was about to raise his voice on Skye but an even louder voice stopped him. A sound that came from the outside and was terrifying enough to send chills down a dog's spine...
