Opposites Attract

Chapter 2: Earth

I stared at the picture. He was quite cute honestly.
"What am I supposed to do with him?"
"His name is Oliver. All you need to do is ruin his life. Simple."
I was confused for a moment.
"I can't go back to heaven. How am I supposed to ruin the life of an angel?"
Lucifer chuckled,
"He lives on earth."
I understood and stood up.
"I'll start right away."
I walked out and went back to my room. I began to pack some clothes when Naomi stopped me.
"Naomi? I thought you were at home?"
"You won't need to pack. Everything you already need is there. Except for a family. Me and my family will be with you. Xena and I will be your parents while Spencer will be your little brother."
I nodded as she grabbed my hand. I started to feel dizzy and all of a sudden we were in a house on earth along with Spencer and another woman who I could only assume was Xena.
Everyone looked slightly different from when we were in hell. We looked more human. Naomi went from bright red hair to more of a ginger color. Her gray eyes were still serious and she still wore glasses. Spencer's red eyes turned to gray like Naomi's. I don't know what Xena looked like in hell, but her hair was black and her eyes were green. I walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I looked mostly the same. My black hair was still a little messy and I still had bright blue eyes. I was also now wearing a black hoodie.
"Ace! Get some sleep!"
Naomi yelled up the stairs. She was already acting like my mother. I walked into a room and immediately knew it was mine. It had everything a teenage boy could ever want or need. I laid on the bed and immediately fell asleep.
My alarm went off at 6. I got out of bed and took a quick shower. Walking back into my room, I saw that Naomi must've been in there because an outfit was laid out on the bed and the clothes I originally left on the floor were gone. I grabbed the black ripped jeans from off of my bed and quickly put them on before grabbing the turtleneck sweater and slipping it over my wet hair. Quickly styling my hair and putting on a pair of black boots, I ran downstairs to Naomi who was making breakfast.
"Sit down and quickly eat some breakfast Ace. Also, you do know how to drive right?"
I nodded as I stuffed my mouth with toast. Naomi chuckled at me before passing something to me,
"Your fake license. There's a car outside for you, and the middle school is right next to the high school so you're taking Spencer with you."
I nodded and finished off the toast before drinking the glass of orange juice that Naomi put in front of me.
"Damn  you eat like you haven't been fed in ages."
I heard an unfamiliar voice and turned to see who I assume was Xena.
"Well, we don't eat a lot in heaven and I didn't really get a lunch break before my meeting with the devil."
"Just eat as much as you need honey."
I smiled at Naomi as she placed another plate of toast in front of me. A few minutes later Spencer came and sat at the table. He ate in silence before grabbing his bag and sitting by the door.
"I guess we should start heading out then..bye guys."
I grabbed the car keys and waved to the moms before walking out the door.
