-You regret it.- Jennie says softly, lying on the bed. Her gaze was directed at the silhouette of a girl sitting with her back to her.

Jisoo only sighs faintly, dipping her face into her hands. She bites her finger, directing her gaze somewhere in front of her.

-I don't want to talk about it.- Jisoo answers, getting out of bed and looking for some T-shirt to put on herself. Jennie just stares at her shadowy silhouette.

-So we're going to pretend it didn't happen again?- Jennie continues to repeat her words dryly. She continues to stare at her wife's back. The brunette only rubs her eyes and answers:

-We both needed it. It doesn't mean anything...- Jisoo turns her head a little to the side.

-Don't bother yourself.- Jennie waves her hand, immediately getting out of bed, picking up clothes lying on the floor.- I understand everything. Yes, fuck, I knew that...- She continues to hiss under her breath, putting on a T-shirt, and then starts looking for pants. Jisoo is still standing with her back to the girl, slightly biting her finger.- You don't have to say anything.- She answers by pulling on her trousers.- I know this scheme. Sex and that's it. Thank you for giving yourself to me.- She waves her hand elegantly and bows, and then just leaves the room.

Jisoo continues to stand facing the window. Her hands are trembling treacherously, and an unpleasant aftertaste hangs in her heart. It hurt so much that tears almost came out of her eyes.

-Are you hungry?- Jennie asks, not even looking at her wife who has just come down, spreading jam on toast.

-Yes.- Jisoo answers uncertainly, staring at her wife's impassive face. She walks up to the counter and sits down in front of the girl.

-Here you go.- Jennie holds out the plate, still not looking at Jisoo, turns back, takes the cups of coffee, and turning back to her wife, hands one to her.

-Where are you going?- Jisoo asks, taking a sip of her drink, looking at the brown-haired girl from under her brows. She just looks out the window, sipping coffee.

-I have a meeting right now.- She only answers, holding a cup in her hand, and with the other she thoughtfully fiddles with the ring on her finger. Jisoo glances at her hands, continuing to squint at her actions.

It's been a little less than a week since that night. At this rate, every day passed for the girls. They communicated, but not in the same way as before. They couldn't even fight with each other anymore. Everything was calm to some extent. They talk practically to the point, and try to appear less in public in order to avoid unnecessary touching. Tenderness, that's what they don't need right now.

But despite the way they behave, Jennie still lets Jisoo hug her. She knows she needs it. And she just endures. But it's hard for her. Very much, and she's sure of one thing, she won't be able to stand it soon....

Jennie sighs and blinks, removing the veil of thoughts, puts the cup on the counter, and heads for the door. She starts to get dressed.

-We're supposed to be at a party tonight.- Jisoo says, still sitting at the counter. She casts a sidelong glance at the already dressed brown-haired girl.

-I know.- Jennie just answers.- Go without me. I can't go there.- She picks up her bag from the table, straightens her coat, and leaves the loft.

Jisoo just exhales irritably, throwing the toast all over the counter. She crosses her arms, resting her forehead on them.
