Diana looked down as wild auburn curls swayed in the wind, and the baby stayed cradled in a nun's arms. Cora was sobbing as the flames began to lick at her feet, she screamed loudly as the crowd cheered. Diana couldn't stand it so lifted her hand and the flames grew higher before swallowing Cora quickly and killing her. Diana released a shaky breath apart of her once thought she would take good pleasure in seeing her die, but watching her die didn't do anything except way on her conscious.
"Are you happy?" Seo Ya turned towards Diana she stared forward her chest rising with each labored breath. She slowly turned towards him and knew from his look he wanted nothing more than to see her burn.
"No," Diana spat out turning abruptly and leaving she hated it, her life was falling apart at the seems. Her mind pulled up the mental image of her father knowing how disappointed he would be. Yoongi soon was walking at her side but she didn't want company with her misery.
"Go away," Diana said softly he refused and stayed with her in office as she slowly wrote to her lady's maid in Solitude the small hold she hailed from. She would go back and forget she was ever Empress. She was about to get an envelope when Yoongi snatched the letter up.
"I'll soon return for good prepare a room and board for me!" He read the letter in outrage before dark eyes scrutinized her, she only looked forward, moving only when he began to race out of the room.
"Yoongi wait!!" She screamed racing after him as they bounded down corridors and she recognized where he was leading them. He burst through the door startling the others. Jin and Taehyung absent as usual of those two. Hoseok joining them in absence.
"Yoongi I mean it! I order you to give me that back and come with me!" Diana walked forward he just lifted it up, she gawked he was seriously doing this right now, beside Jimin he was the shortest meaning 5'7 Diana in five inch heels could nearly reach the letter as she held his shoulder. Namjoon plucked the letter from Yoongi's fingers and quickly read it mouthing some the words. Jimin came to silently peer at the letter before cute round eyes turned to narrowed slits much like Namjoon's. Jungkook watched in confusion but felt defensive of the stares thrown towards his Empress.
"You wouldn't dare." Namjoon glared at her she returned with a harsher glare as the hair on Jungkook's nape stood conflicted on who he should defend. Diana walked forward and went to snatch the letter when Jimin grabbed it first and handed it to Jungkook who quickly skimmed it before it was out of his fingers and in Diana's trembling hands.
"If you're all done embarrassing me I'll be sending this letter." Diana said, to her surprise it was Jungkook who piped up.
"What about the plan?" He asked three heads snapped in his direction, all shock gone from Jimin's body as he slowly walked forward.
"What plan?" He asked dangerously slow as Diana clenched her fist, why was leaving her murderers so hard. She shook her head, Jungkook stood up. Diana turned away not in the mindset to handle anymore of their antics right now.
"You are not leaving, you can't! You, you have duties! You're Empress!" Yoongi shouted Diana wasn't used to him being so angry and loud, she didn't look at him simply walking by. Yoongi gripped her arm spinning her around and slamming her against the door.
"You have an obligation to the crown, you have an agreement with him." Yoongi snarled at Diana, she scowled the stupid binding she could easily abolish with a simple ritual. It meant nothing Yoongi knew that, his grip became harsher causing Diana to hiss in pain. Jungkook slammed Yoongi against the door beside Diana.
"Stop." He all but whispered the older male shook him off and looked at Diana, her hair was falling out of its updo. Her sleeve had fallen down farther.
