Chapter 18

A few days later...

Ali went for his 25km run in the morning before school started. Once he was done, it was 6:30 am, and went back home for a shower before going to school.  Right after Victor was about to sit beside him, the MATA Symbol from their phones lit up. He sign.

Ali, Alicia, and Victor went to MATA Headquarters for their mission.

After the trio was at the control room...

They saw the druids and Cinco with General Rama on the screen. Ali knew what was happening right there, this was the day when they would decide if he stay at MATA as an Agent or be eliminated but he was still confused as to why it happened, the Azurium was safe this time and every mission was successful. Is this happening to evaluate their skills more in detail... He sign.

"Permission to speak?" Ali asked.

"Permission granted" General Rama stated.

"Why did you summon us? We have made sure that the Azurium is safe from the enemy who would use it to make a powerful weapon as you ask so we shouldn't have a mission yet by now. You said that you agree with my terms. Well, currently, I am scheduled to do my paperwork. May I take my leave?" Ali said.

Everyone stayed quiet at that... 

"... Very well..." General Rama slowly said.

Ali just nodded towards him. He then turned towards Victor.

"See you at school tomorrow, Vic" Ali said.

"Ya, Man" Victor simply said.

Ali went out of the control room door quietly. Once he left, everything was quiet. They all turn towards Victor.

"Agent Victor, according to Agent Alicia, Why did Agent Ali take charge and they always work?" General Rama asked.

"Ali would read a book about how to strategies for beginners for fun before class starts, but after he and I have met with MATA and got tested on which pillar we'll be in, he decided to read more into it when he has free time," Victor stated.

"... How busy is Agent Ali, Agent Victor?" General Rama asked.

"Very busy apparently, he would do some morning exercise before school even opens and make sure to be at school as soon as the gate is open since he has paperwork since he is the Student Council President. Not by choice but by votes from practically every student excuse me... After school normally he has to help his father with some projects so he can learn to code more by himself. Before class began, he would do his normal rounds to check if everything was going well when he had the time. He would call all the prefects to his office every Monday to give them their work for the week. That's all that I could reveal" Victor replied.

"Plus, that's not even half of it" Victor shrug.

(Note: For those who thought that Ali finally told Victor, then no, Victor didn't know the truth, his classes in Gymnastics and Martial Arts, his IRIS, that he already is a hacker master, his other weapons that he didn't use in battles, his other identity as the masked idol, IRIS, and his plans for the future and many more)

Everyone's eyes were wide open out of shock. 

💭How busy can he be?!

With Ali...

Ali was just doing his paperwork and shivered for god knows why. Probably reminded him about the time it happened in his timeline. He needs to make an IRIS decoy which can easily be made since there will be one feature from the actual IRIS.
