Sitting on my desk top in my class,I pulled my edge brush and edge control out to redo my edges. I was waiting on the girls since we were all going to meet up in my class then leave to go to Burger King.
Jazzlin and Kierashae walked in excitedly as they were talking about their plans for the weekend.
How dem a plan fi guh out already and school jus start back?
When they came up to me,I hugged them and placed a kiss on each of their cheeks.
"Hey boo,"Jazz greeted. Kiera was distracted by something on her phone that had her smiling away.
Jazz and I continued talking about how we liked our classes and how our days went. We only have Physics and Spanish classes together which are both on Thursdays so I'm just getting the chance to see her.
During our conversations I got a text from Anaeyah saying that she was outside the class.
"That's weird,why she nuh jus come in?"
I told Jazz and Kiera that I was going outside before I hopped off the desk and walked to the door.
As soon as I arrived to the door I was stopped by a beautiful short girl with a brown complexion. For a couple seconds we just stared at each other without saying a word before we were interrupted by Anaeyah.
"A wah unu know each adda?"she asked.
"No enuh a di first mi a see har suh mi nuh know wah she a stare pan mi suh fah,"I said defensively.
"Easy hot head,"Anaeyah said as she used her hand to gently push me back since I was slowly walking up to the girl.
"She nuh mean no harm,a jus suh she stay,she like stare paa people."
Oh she lucky.
"A mi cousin by the way,"Anaeyah added as her cousin gave me a thin lipped smile.
Oh shit now mi kinda feel bad.
"Oh um,sorry bout dat,"I said as I stretched out my hand to her, "I'm Taj'anae, I'm normally a nice person enuh mi jus nuh too like people a stare pan mi and dem ting deh,"she lightly chuckled.
"Dat good man,Kehlania mi name,"her hand met mine and she slightly shook it.
Hearing her voice left me frozen in my spot for a few seconds. It was so strong yet so smooth but also a bit deep. Her hand was so soft and her smile was so beautiful. Her teeth were pearly white and I could smell her Savage Dior cologne from where I was standing.
It's one of my dad's favorite cologne so I instantly knew that's what she was wearing.
"Taj, Taj!" Kiera called my name twice before I snapped out of my day dream.
"Watch ya why yuh still a wol mi han?"I asked trying to play the fact that I was embarrassed off.
"Nuh you still wol on pan mine,yuh eye dem pretty doe,"she flashed me another smile.
"Alright nuh badda wid dat,unu come on,"Anaeyah said before Kiera pulled me back inside.
Nuh badda wid wah?
"Hey Lani," Jazz called out to her as she saw us enter the classroom.
"Y chop,"Kehlania answered.
Damn she's gangsta.
While they continued talking I was becoming aggravated due to Anaeyah not holding my phone straight because I was using my camera to do my edges.
"Yaa guh mek mi gi yuh a fuck tump enuh"I uttered calmly.
"Wah mi duh?"she asked innocently.
Before I could answer Kehlania took the phone from her and held it firmly in her hands for me to see then continued her conversation with Jazzlin.
Why dat kinda attractive?
"Suh which grade yuh inna and which subjects yaa duh?"
She named out all her subjects and I was a bit bummed when I realized that we had no subjects together.
"Sack a salt,"I mumbled under my breath.
"Wah yuh nuh like History?"she asked.
I looked up at her and was met with her dark brown eyes and that's when I realized that she heard what I said.
"Who the hell likes history?"I asked trying to play it off.
"Well,mi nuh too like history but it is required since I want to study Law."
"Wah kinda Lawyer yuh waa be?"I asked.
"Criminal,"I nodded in understanding.
"Wah bout you? Wah yuh waa be?"
"Dermatopathologist."
As we continued talking I couldn't help but admire the moment that we all shared. I enjoy being around my friends and being away from them during the summer really made me miss them. -
