Danmi looked down at her hands not able to look at the man currently looking at her waiting for her to look at him after so many months. "Look at me"

Danmi gulped at the voice, still not looking up, she could feel her fingers tremble, her body tremble. She didn't know how she was sitting so still in the fucking chair when all she wanted was to-

Was to what? What could she even do? She didn't know at this point. She didn't know anything.Didn't feel anything.

"Just for a second. Please look at me"

Danmi shook her recently chopped short hair off her face and looked up at the ceiling. Her hands itched to go toward her eyes, but she didn't want to show him her tears. Not now, not anymore. 

She looked at him, Charles finally let out  a breath looking at her face. He knew she was breathtaking always, at every point of time. But now, she looked etheral to him, was it because he jumped back from death? He didn't know.

"Dani-"

"So now you call me Dani, Charles"She threw in his name the way he did. He flinched at her voice,"Amor-"

"Don't- Don't call me that"Danmi jabbed her finger towards him. She shook her head, her finger going through her hair. "Dani it's really not what you think so...please let me explain"

"Explain what Charles? The girlfriend who you hid from me all this time, or the fact that she was informed before me, I wasn't even informed until I was on the fucking flight leaving everything behind."

"Dani she's not my girlfriend she's just- she was- i- i Don't know how to tell you this"He shook his head looking down in guilt. Danmi let out a teary laugh making him look back at her in shock finding tears streaming down her face.

"You have some fucking audacity wanting truth from me when you couldn't tell me something this big! It was a small incident and i didn't tell you because you'd be worried, it might affect your race, that's what I thought, and that's what happened! At least that's what I thought...and when I come here leaving everything behind-"

She scoffed,"I find a whole ass girlfriend coming out of your room, tell me how excatly are you going to explain that?"

Charles gulped, Danmi was someone who was calm in every situation, if she was this angry, then this was too serious, of course it is Charles what were you thinking. "I'll tell you..."

The door to the room opened,"Leave, why are you still here?"

"Alexis-"

"You do not tell me what do to"Danmi whipped towards the female standing beside the door, both of them glaring at each other. "You get out, while I'm talking to your boyfriend."

Charles bit his lips, he could feel his heart breaking, shattering listening to her broken voice,"Amor-"

"That's right, my boyfriend so you'll be the one leaving not me"

"Alexis Lombardy right."Danmi got up from her seat, her hand raking through her hair as she slowly walked towards Alexis, each step she took the sound resonated in the room. Charles watched the duo in shock and slight fear.

Alexis licked her lips backing away slowly,"Leave before I throw you out of, not only this room but hospital, my bodyguards are way too huge for you to do anything, you know idol privileges."

Danmi twirled a strand of Alexis' hair who gulped in response and stuttered,"D-do you-you even know- who- who y-youre"

"Alexis Lombardy, Daughter of Alexander Lombardy, renowned fashion designer, once close family friends to Leclerc, and once engaged to Charles Leclerc."

Alexis felt her eyes widen,"h-how-"

"You're not the only somewhat famous and renowned person here, l-l-leave n-now"she mocked alexis who glared at her leaving the room immediately.

"How did you know all that?"

Danmi turned toward the man on the hospital bed before glaring athe door again. "You'd be surpised what us kpop idols are capable of." she sat back down again.

"Explain"

Charles gulped,"As you know Alexis Lombardy, her father is a famous fashion designer now, but before all this fame he was nothing this big, my uncle and her father formed an alliance of sort, our name will help was what my uncle thought, we were close to them at one point but I never agreed to the engagement, it was forced for only their benefit. My family hated them after this, Alexis on the other hand, found every chance to flaunt the fact that she was engaged to me.

She brought a ring on her own telling everyone we were engaged even when we weren't, we were never officlally together or engaged of any sort. She just started showing off and the rumours escalated. I broke it off three years ago, believe me Dani please"

Danmi looked at the man begging her,"some nerve you have hiding all this and then being mad at me"

She got up from her seat and walked towards the door. "Danmi please-"

"You still like your shake extra sweet right? In this condition?"

Charles looked at her weirdly but nodded as a smile came over his face. Danmi smiled slightly it was barely noticeable but Charles noticed everything aout her, saw everything. He sighed again as she exited the room.
