Danmi and Steph both flinched looking at the man who had his arms crossed against his chest glaring at them. Danmi wiped her sweat and looked at the man,"Sir with all due respect, please talk to Steph politely she has way more work than any of us has here"

Steph glared at the man walking out the door and picked up her phone dialing the number waiting for the person to pick up their phone.

Charles kept looking at his phone screen with an unreadable emotion on his face. He jumped slightly feeling a warm hand on his shoulder. He turned to his teammate who had his eyebrows raised.
"What's wrong mate? Andrew called you almost five times you didn't hear him?"
Charles let out a small forced smile and said,"My bad I didn't hear let's go"
"Are you sure everything's alright?"Carlos asked his dear friend softly who nodded in response. Carlos knew when Charles lied but he was sure he'd tell him when the time was right so he let it go.
"The car is ready for testing for the free practice, let's see how it goes"
Charles nodded at his engineer, his head still somehwere else.
