The Game Of Ambivalence

PHASE - I

WHY?
It is the only word that is all i wanted to ask.

Jab chodh kar hi jaana tha toh ishq kyu kiya? Log toh din ginte hai ishq main par maine toh har pal har lamha jiya hai tumhari mohabbat main.

(Why did you love me when you already planned on leaving me? People count days in love but I lived every second of the time where i loved you deeply.)

I came out of my thoughts when the door opened loudly & one of my father's men came inside & said sternly
"You're called downstairs" i shook my head & mumbled "No i am not coming downstairs"
"Please don't force me to use other ways to take you down" i looked up to see his eyes softening but he masked it up quickly. I heard lala's (brother) voice & got up..he stood near the door of my room i quickly ran towards him ready to explain him

"Lala (Brother) i—" before i could say anything further he slapped me hard causing me to fall down on the floor . Tears gathered in my eyes due to the pain i felt a metallic taste in my mouth It was blood.
I looked up at him only for him to pull me up by fisting my hair i screamed due to the pain. "Lala please its hurting me..please leave my hair"

"SHUT UP" i flinched when he yelled. He dragged me with him across the corridor leading us towards the staircase. I was struggling in his grip it felt like my hair would fall out. I heard mom yelling his name but he never stopped.

"Bhai what are you doing? Chodho Zoya ko use dard horaha hai". ( leave zoya..she is in pain)
Sehar spoke while trembling from fear.

"I'm Not interested in your Family drama" I jerked my head up & saw him sitting on the couch while spreading his legs, his aura speaks powerful, he is not the soft guy anymore he is a person who shows no emotion now all i can see is the eyes that once held immense love and warmth are now empty of these emotions. His face is blank void of emotions.

Lala dragged me near him & was ready to speak until dad spoke loudly "Her or your sister's proof" i looked at dad confusedly until he stood up while fixing his hair & spoke "THE PROOF"

What proof? He has a sister? He never told me...oh how could i forget that everything he told me about himself was a lie a pure LIE.

Our gaze met & i saw his lip curl into a smirk he walked near me & bent over & whispered near my ear "It was worth meeting you wild cat"

Before I could even open my mouth i was interrupted "Take it & leave from here"

He smiled and took the pen drive & some papers from dad's hand & was heading towards the door until he stopped & spoke while turning around

"Btw this success wasn't possible without Zoya. A party must be held right?" 

"Leave" Lala said loudly

"You guys are invited to join our party but make sure you don't cause trouble at my house because if you do then i am not responsible for things i will do with your family especially to my favourite person"
He spoke while intensely looking at me.

"Also next time you shout at me remember that your shares are still with me & this proof is enough to send you all to the prison itself" he left after stating this words loud & clear.

I saw dad muttering some incoherent words. I turned towards my right to see mom sitting on the couch crying while sehar was stood near her gazing at the floor.

My eyes were hurting now I couldn't see properly everything was blurred which lead me to fall down i could feel that someone was trying to lift me up but i didn't want to..i was so hurt & everything happened was too much to take but at that time I realised that i was a fool to fall in love with him.

I will never forgive you DANIYAL. NEVER .
