[1992, 27th November.]

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 had released not even a week after, and alas, Follow struck again, this time to a child of a Police Officer, who's name has been stricken from the record. The child had found a dusty SEGA MegaDrive in his father's closet, and decided to play Sonic 2 with the console.

The game booted, however the child noticed Sonic had yellow eyes and a strange smirk. However, the game seemed pretty normal, so he started the game up, but noticed he was playing as Tails, rather than Sonic. But apart from that, the game seemed mostly normal, until Act 2 of Emerald Hill, where the game bugged out, and Tails appeared in a dark, void like zone, with the background Music of Hidden Palace Zone playing, with Sonic at the end of the hall, with those yellow eyes and smile. A voice, that resembled the Sonic voice of the OVA, cheerfully spoke.

"Thank you for re-awakening me, I must thank you properly, It's merely manners, it's plain to see! It would be a grand shame if your help was in vain, so would You please give me your name?"

The child, unconvinced, was very hesitant. "Why hesitate my child, all I ask is to give what you've rightfully earned, I promise to be quick and safe with my little deal! No strings attached, no nothing!"

"Come, now, don't be shy, give your name, and Sonic will show you why you will be free of pain and strife!" The child entered: "Miles" on a keyboard nearby, linked to the TV, and when that didn't work, he typed: "Tails"

"I can't take an alias, I can't take a nickname, please now don't delay, your prize awaits, so give me YOUR name! Come now, give the name, and then we can play!"

Eventually, the Child typed his name. "Jack" and Sonic grinned wider. Suddenly, the room was draped in a yellow light, and the Child found himself unable to leave the room. Sonic's façade fell apart, revealing the demon underneath the mask.

"MUHAHAHA! Now your name and soul belong to me, It's truly alright, oh dear child, you committed a crime, freeing me is now the way you'll fall, wrapped in the code and wire and eternal damned fire of Sonic's special Hell, within my bloodsoaked strings, Here in.. MY WORLD! Now say your goodbyes, for the ball's in my court!"

"We are linked by this game, and soon you'll see you help break me free with each breath till death!"

The Child felt himself dying, slowly losing life, as Sonic stared lifelessly from the screen.

"Let your spirit leave your body, I am All, and you are nothing for me, pretend but it's for naught, your body will flop, and your soul belongs to me, wrapped in bloodsoaked code and love, for the love will be all you'll feel, sorry kid, it's in my deal!"

The child flopped over, dead and as unloved as the grass outside. The world continued to spin, silently screaming that it's victims mean nothing.

"It's my joy to take a life, It lessens my pain. and at the end of my reign, there is only pain that remains, and the cold silence of Death, and it's gonna stay that way. It matters not to me, for it's cold reality, and blood will soak my walls, and I'll tread my steps lightly."

The police found such events on the cameras, and it was shocking, so once more, the console and game was taken away, and was put on top priority to be investigated. Nobody knows what became of the 2 missing children, and like a girl named Millie, they too were assumed to be a cold case, as the demon within the game continued to exist freely..
