Have you ever had science in homeroom with Mr. Johnson? It is sooo awesome! So when they get into homeroom and saw a substitute, it was Letdown City.
"Hello, Ms. ... um."
" It's on the board, Mr. Williams.", says the sub with an evil looking smile on her wrinkled face as she points to the board with a gnarled finger.
"Oh thanks." Jason says as he takes his seat.
"Hello everyone. I am your substitute teacher, Mrs. Smith."
"What happened to Mr. Johnson?" says Jake in a weak voice.
"Oh, he's dead.", she says with another evil smile on her face.
"HE CAN'T BE DEAD!! HE... He....... He can't..." stutters Jason, with tears in his eyes.
"Oh, that reminds me.", says Mrs. Smith, strutting over to her desk to grab a folded piece of paper.
"He asked me on his deathbed to send you two", she points with her gnarled fingers, "with me." As they walk out of the silent classroom and into the music room across from dead old Mr. Johnson's classroom, she locks the door behind them as they shuffle into the music room.
