Cross' pov:

"Oh shii- Sorry!! I didn't mean to scare you!!" I shout in a panic as I wave my hands around nervously as the skeleton-fox gets up, rubbing the back of their skull. They look at me with a blank but adorable look as they tilt their head to side, I slowly calm down seeing that they don't seem upset and tilt my head as well. We stare at each other like that for a few seconds before they stops tilting their head to the side, making me stop as well.
"no, no. It's not your fault." The skeleton-fox says, catching me off guard, "what the fu- you speak??" I asked, shocked. "of course I do." They respond blankly.

We stare at each other for a few seconds again in uncomfy silence before I just let out an awkward hum of acknowledgment as I look away shyly.
Suddenly, they let out a small giggle, "Aw, are you shy~?" The hybrid teased, making me blush. I had no clue what to say, but that's okay as it seems the hybrid is the type to start a convo first, "what's ya' name, btw? And why were ya' watching me? Gasp are ya' one of these stalkers in those cool horror movies??" They rushed their words as they seemed excited, smiling widely.
"Um.. I'm Cross. And- um, no.. I'm not. I was just, um, going on a walk to clear my mind-" I whispered, my blush dying down, "what's your name?"
"I'm killer!! He/she, heh-heh. What's your pronouns, Crossie?" Nevermind about my blushing dying down cuz it came right back after she called me Crossie. God, she's so... Cute. Wait- no-! I just met him, um-!
"Ummm, hellooo? Earth to Crossie?" I snapped out of my thoughts when she waved her hand infront of my face, now realizing that she was rather close to me and got up, not helping my blushing at all.
I quickly look away and take a few steps back, "oh, yeah, right. Um.. he/him. Nice to meet you, Killer- Killer.. that's an odd name.." I whispered the last part but he seemed to have heard cuz he let out another chuckle, standing up straight.
"Nice to meet ya' too, Crossie! And, going on a walk? Hm, you don't seem to type to go outside a lot.." he got up close again, looking at me like he was teasingly investigating me or something- he was so close, I kinda wanted to... Wait, no, no, no, no- don't have those thoughts, idiot!!

Suddenly, are moment was ruined by the sound of horror yelling out my name and asking where am I, it was faint tho. I sighed, I sorta didn't want to go yet.
"Aw, seems like ya' gotta head back to where ever.. AW, THAT SUCKS!! THE SECOND I FIND ENTERTAINMENT IT GETS TAKEN AWAY!!" Killer pouts loudly, waving his arms around.
I look away nervously, "um.. yeah- well, uh, we can meet up tomorrow? I'm free for a bit so.."
I glance at the ground as my foot hits the ground repeatedly and quietly. Killer stopped waving her arms and her eyelights sparkled up as I spoke, "Ooo, okie dokie!" She seemed very excited about the new meet up. I look up at her, It made my feel a little bit positive that I was the reason for making someone all cheerful like this. But before I could even form a smile before I heard Horror yell my name very loudly. I groaned and yelled back to him that I coming in just a second, and, with a sigh, I gave Killer a weak wave bye (that she happily waved back to) before walking off.

Today was interesting, but nice. I just hope Nightmare isn't still mad at me, ugh.
