Why Clay is the best DOD

First off, mud wing.
Mud wonks are such slayers and an underrated ass tribe. I love them a ton ^^
The whole sibling side of them is ADORABLE!!! Like, such strong bonds are formed and the way it's been shown in the books are -well a bit too vague for me- BUT THEY'RE STILL COOL.
Plus, I'd love to see another Mud wing pov. I think I've heard somewhere that Umber may get a POV, if so, S L A Y! One of my favourite characters getting a pov 🤭🤭

Also I just love Clay and remember telling myself when I first read his book a few years ago. I'll love mud wings, Clay is best lad and whatever else I said.

I mean my favourite character is Whiteout, then followed by Chameleon then Umber. The rest I believe are like, Cricket, Starflight, Qibli, Riptide, Swordtail and some more. I just forgot LMAO.

They're all really cool characters in my opinion.
Plus I'd argue Chameleon was a little waste of an antagonist. His concept was really neat, especially his motives, being banished for his lack of similarity compared to other rain wings, then the loss of his family thing when he was Soar.
I mean, we have no idea if there was actual care or if it was a breeding program thing as I heard it being mentioned.
But Chameleon asking in one of the books about if the dragonets knew Kestrel makes me think he actually wanted to be with them as a family.
Yet his reactions towards Peril and such, HM.

He was an okay father? Manipulative or just extremely manipulated in riches and gold himself. Additionally with his lack of understanding with a few things too.
He really was a missed out antagonist, who had a lot more potential. Of course he did work for whoever could bring him gold or power (I think. Don't quote me on any of this. Been a few years since I read the books he appeared in).

While then again, his time in the books was enough. Established to be a grumpy father with a messed up sleep schedule, who is just a greedy little rat.
But idc! He's still second 🤭
I mean, a banished rain wing lad who went to get the milk that can shapeshift into other tribes! He's a bit slay.

Uhhh, yeah! This is where my rants normally go.
If I went on and on, my yapping would fly everywhere.
Like literally, my mind works in so many places at once it's like a literal hell!
I hear people who can sit in silence and let their mind rest! Like WHAT! I WANT THAT!
Instead I'm just constantly thinking of random things that don't connect with the now.

Although, I guess it adds to my creativity 🤭
Allowing me to think a lot more and in abstract ways I suppose.
Quite a mind. In the end it could just be ADHD. No clue if I have it! At this point I've just self diagnosed myself. Could be a trauma response, or I could simply have it.
